Poor customer service and appearance can manifest in various ways. The experience we encountered at Muzzie’s was substantial enough to motivate me to write an unfavorable review, a step I rarely take. The visit was marred by several issues, including unacceptable behavior, staff judgmental, unprovoked rude comments, subpar service, and inadequate communication. These formal $700 to $1000 dresses were messy in a crushed state, evoking the image of a thrift store. While in the fitting room, a staff member formally gave a restriction notice on trying on a maximum of five dresses, and later, as we were fastening one of the gowns, she loudly commented, asking, "Did I hear a pop?" My nieces feelings were hurt, and when I addressed these concerns, my return phone call failed to meet even minimal expectations. This was all about my 16-year-old niece and if she hadn’t been eager to purchase a dress, I would not have given them a cent. After spending nearly $800.00, including taxes we were also charged $10.00 for a garment bag. Purchasing a prom dress should be an exhilarating experience. My daughter and I were thrilled to be involved in our niece's milestone. Sadly, we felt disrespected, disregarded, and unappreciated as customers. Upon examining reviews, we see that our negative experience is not unique, suggesting that the company should endeavor to elevate their standards. Regrettably, Muzzie's Cypress is not a recommended destination, falls short in providing a memorable...
Read moreI never write reviews, but feel the need to leave one this time. First, way too crowded. They have dresses on racks, some are in plastic bags, some are not. You have to step all over the bottom of some dresses, having to step over and on them to walk to the back of an overcrowded rack and aisle. Gives Marshall/Ross vibes. My first concern was “am I buying a 500-700$ dress that’s been stepped all over?” 2nd, not getting a garment bag and having to spend 10$ to get one after spending 700$ on a dress? Come on. 3rd, they claim that nobody else from your high school can buy your dress. They have a notebook where they write the style down. I question that because you pick your dress and then WE asked about the list. I seriously doubt they really keep up with that or tell people “no” when they finally find their prom dress. 4th, the service….stop trying to up sale to buy earrings, etc. Heck, I’ve got to buy a 10$ garment bag. SMH. There is an underlying vibe with their workers, mostly high school girls. Definitely a snobby, if you aren’t a certain type of consumer, they treat that person less than. Finally, the selection is not all that great.
I’ve bought HOCO and Prom dresses for three girls over the past 7 years. Cranes in the woodlands is...
Read moreI purchased my daughter's prom dress here. It was one of the high end designer dresses. The day she tried on the dress & placed it on layaway there was nothing wrong with the dress. When I picked up the dress I noticed the sequence waist band was slightly coming off but wasn't going to make a fuss about it becasue it wasn't major. Well the next day as my daughter was getting dressed we noticed more defects with dress, which by the way were not there when we placed it on layaway...hole by the zipper, missing hooks, and bent out shape hooks. Well since the store was closed at the time we noticed these issues and it was prom night we just finished getting her dressed and I was planning to speak with managment about the issue on Monday. Well while my daughter was dancing at prom the front of her HIGH END DRESS came apart leaving her exposed in front of all the people at prom. When I spoke with management they were not concern about the issue and pretty much told me "Oh Well" once the dress leaves our shop its not longer our concern. Even with the defects before she even went to prom nothing she could have been doing no type of dance should have made - WHAT THEY DESCRIBE AS A HIGH END DRESS...
