UPDATE: I emailed them the day they responded but they have NOT contacted me. I think they must reply that response so other people will think they are doing something about the poor rating. It has taken me almost a month to calm down to write this review. That in itself should say something. It was our first visit to this new location and it will be our last. I took my adult children, including my daughter who was turning 21 on that day and her friend. The four of us were given a booth and so it began. The server called us everything from lovies, Honies, darlings, my sweets to other endearments I can't recall. I'm 54 and this girl was about 22 if that. She was slow to bring the breadsticks which are always great as I think they sprinkle happy dust on them....I'm gluten-free and wait for the day they come out with Olive Garden gluten-free breadsticks. After numerous question and answers about the gluten free option I went with the rotini and a mushroom sauce. The kids ordered Lasagna, fettuccine alfredo and some other dish. After what seemed like forever I asked when the salad would be coming. Server said it would come with the meals.......this is a first. So it came right before our meals. The salad was fine but heavy with the harder part of the inside head of the lettuce and less on the softer leaves. Then our meals. I can't speak to the Lasagna as it was baked and appeared to not be dry but the other three dishes including mine was like the sahara. I asked for more sauce and piled on the salt. The rotini noodles looked undercooked but were in fact waaaay over cooked disintegrating in my mouth in a gritty, grainy fashion. The server explains to me when I complained about the meals, that the pasta soaks up the sauce...........like I'm five and would believe such a stupid reply. I didn't want to make waves for my daughter's sake so I just routed around for some softer lettuce and sat there. My daughter ordered an alcoholic slushie drink for her first ID'd experience and she is still waiting on the experience...... as I think they forgot the alcohol in her $7 drink. I am beyond disappointed with our experience. We generally like the Olive Garden but if this location doesn't get its act together I fear a Denny's may move into their place. Some may argue that that would be an upgrade. Come on Olive Garden, you...
Read moreOh boy, too much to say. To start our server was very stressed out with a large table, probably a 10 top seated next to our 3 top. I ordered a Bellini was brought a bellini tea my husband proceeded to explain I wanted the Bellini with alcohol and, this started the problem. The server explained he brought what I ordered. I have been coming to Olive Garden longer than I care to admit and have ordered 100's of these with 0 problems but, because my husband and I both have years of serving experience decided to grab a menu for clarification. Well low and behold there was in fact a bellini tea so I chalked it up to the server not knowing the menu well (Which in itself is not a crime) as the manager came and asked if everything was ok, I explained there had been a mix up but I understood why etc. She was nice enough to say sorry about that it will be right out he rang in the drink from the bar. Huh so he knew it came from the bar. Now I am confused. Like I said I can sympathize with any server because I have been there, but something felt off. We dress very down had our grandson with us, but usually tip 40 sometimes even 50% so I was blown away. After that interaction we had to ask for everything 2, 3 or 4 times before it slowly came to the table. My grandsons pizza came after we were finishing the meal asked for drinks several times before they were brought, etc. The funny part is my husband has had up to 30,000 views on his reviews so he could make your day or break it. Even though we only had a $60-$70 meal we would have tipped at least $25-$30. I did leave a tip but the least I have left in years @ 10%. Only because I know you truly live off the tips. I am not sure what was going on with him. I hope he was just having a bad day maybe he needed a hug or a prayer. I hope he gets it together, if he can you can make some money in serving. It's all in the attitude. You can learn the menu, but more...
Read moreReally disappointed in my visit. I don’t see myself ever going here ever again. My server did the best he could considering he got double sat with a large party. That being said, I still had to wait a long time for my salad and breadsticks. And even longer for my lunch portion lasagna….I had to see tables who arrived after me leave well before me. And they had several people in their party. It was literally just me and my baby. Turns out another server delivered my food to the wrong table. That table not only ate my lasagna, but they were also served (and ate) their OWN lasagna. So they got to eat MY lasagna for FREE while I still had to pay for mine! The manager even admitted it was their screw up but she did nothing to help the situation, offer to comp my meal, apologize, etc. It took my server talking to a different manager for her to come over and ask what was wrong. It was only after I complained that she offered me a free dessert…which I denied. A little too late. I saw her go up to every table around me and ask if everything was okay. She never asked me. Just came up and cooed at my baby. When I told her I never got an apology or anything, she brushed me off and with much attitude said “I came by twice” But she never actually asked how I was or offered an apology or solution. I was fine…I knew the server had his hands full, and I’ve worked in the restaurant industry so I wasn’t going to throw a fit and ruin their day. However, I know how situations like this SHOULD be handled by the manager and she completely missed. As a customer I shouldn’t have to ask for a solution. I hope this gets seen by upper management because this female manager who was working the lunch shift on 11/3/23 was very...
