I arrived at the business location TheBarber'sChair and contact was made upon entry with a hispanic male barber. The hispanic male barber that cut my hair has his station to the west of the front door once you walk straight into the business. (The physical description of this hispanic male barber: Approximately 5'1 in height, approximate weight: 140, medium build, he was wearing a sports style jersey on, he had a tape fade for haircut, black in color 'hair', brown in color 'eyes', he had tattoos from what I recall around his neck area.)

The Hispanic male barber approached me and asked-"Do you have an appointment??.. I'll take you here if you don't". I did not have an appointment and I was just finding a quick barbershop in the area to only get a FADE REFRESHED, my line up/edge-up was already still very sharp from my usual barber that I normally go to that I was not able to go to due to my busy schedule.

The hispanic male barber began to cut my hair and as he was cutting my hair going through the fade process. I advised him..-"sir you do not need to touch my line up at all by the way, my hairline and sides have already been worked on by my normal barber, I would just like my fade refreshed please nothing needs to be done to my sides or edge up at all..". The hispanic male barber looked at me and gave me and acknowledging head nod.................

During the middle end of my haircut the hispanic male barber moved the clippers to my edge up and Began tapping all over it and I then advised the hispanic male barber AGAIN.... -"please sir.. none of that needs to be touched, its already fine.. I just need a low fade refresher, you aren't touching my line up or edge up right?..". The hispanic male barber responded to me and said -"no I'm only just tracing around what's there that's all..".

The haircut took almost TWO HOURS and I started to become suspicious because I knew something was off. The Hispanic male barber kept using the clippers making contact with the corners of my head on the left and right side.. as well as the line up. when the Hispanic male barber EVENTUALLY finished he grabbed the mirror and turned it around and showed me the end result. (obviously the hispanic male barber messed up and was attempting to fix it by circulating around my head a bunch of times, tapping on the left and right side corners of my edge up. This is why the apparent stalling tactic was going on that he thought I would not notice.)

HE DID indeed touch my line up and edge up on the sides.. it was VERY uneven on the right. My right side line was dug into and it was curved giving a very noticeable lop sided uneven look. I stated to the hispanic male barber -"mannnnn sir it's messed up..... there wasn't anything wrong with it I told you my main barber already lined it up, now I'm pushed back, I have to wait another 3 weeks for it to grow back..". The hispanic male barber responded to me and stated -"no I only traced around it!.. I didn't touch it!!.. no way? where?!?!.". I then pointed out to the hispanic male barber where he CLEARLY dug into my line up on the right where anyone can obviously see where my old line up WAS and were he reset it by PUSHING it back and he could not correct it properly.. so he just CURVED it in". The hispanic male barber then responded to me -"WELP.. everyone's hair is different".

...............To the owner of TheBarber'sChair come on man... after constantly telling one of your barbers not to touch my edge up or line up HE DOES IT ANYWAY.. attempting to win a new client.. THATS BAD FOR BUSINESS and ended up pushing my line up back. Sad thing is he didn't care because he got his $45.00 , but now here I am still jacked up for another approximate 2 MORE weeks.. thanks to the Barber'sChair!!!!!.. will never return here again..due to my career what I do for a living I could not escalate matters not being a...

First off I drove 30 minutes to come to this barbershop because when I first seen it on TikTok. Make a long story short one barber didn’t do a good job, and when the owner found out he gave that customer a free haircut. So I thought maybe I’ll go see for myself since that video showed great customer service. On today when I walked in it was about 4 barbers in the shop. Since I was a walk in a guy volunteered to cut my hair, but another barber suggested Adolfo. My first question to him was does he have a portfolio that I could see and is he use to cutting my kind of texture of hair. He stated he didn’t have a portfolio (red flag) and he could cut my hair (fast money). Mind you the I’m thinking since it’s a new year why not try a new barbershop l, especially since I seen it from social media. I asked for a Taper Fade and a line up for my mustache. So as Adolfo is cutting my hair he seemed a bit nervous, so instead of talking to him I decided to keep quite because I didn’t want for him to loose focus on a potential client. The cut was extremely fast and the edge up took him about 15 minutes in each corner ( I’m guessing at that moment he was trying to make a correction). Once he handed me the mirror I seen that my sides weren’t tapered at all, edge up was pushed back, and my mustache looked the same as it was when I came in. All of that cost me $40 and a 30 minute drive home. Not once did I hesitate to pay him, but as a client I shouldn’t have to ask a barber what his strengths and weaknesses are when it comes to cutting hair. That’s what they have barber college for. In all honesty Adolfo needs practice, but just don’t practice on ME! I wish I had a chance to meet the owner and commend him for being such a great person to give one previous client a free haircut due to them not liking the first one. But it is what is. Let this be a lesson learned that as barbers; don’t always be quick to try to take someone’s hard earned money just because you have an open chair. Because the truth of the matter is every barber can’t cut everybody’s hair. That’s just my...

This barber shop is really more like a women’s hair salon. To start: they take appointments, which should’ve been an indicator that I wouldn’t like it. There’s about 8 chairs, but they all give the same cut that rides up the side way to high even if you specifically ask not to do that (number 2 straight up to my part, no blending). The first time I went, I was shocked by the $32 price for a standard clean cut. My old barber charged $12 and that included a shave if I wanted it. The second time I went to the same place out of desperation (I was going to a wedding and needed a quick cut). I first asked specifically that the barber does NOT take the number 2 clipper straight up to the part—he did. I also asked if it was a mistake that I didn’t get the back of my neck/around the ears shaved the first time I went; I understood this to be a standard part of the haircut. The barber stammered for a second before telling me that he’d ā€œhook me up this time.ā€ He proceeded to dry shave my neck and charge me an extra $6. Most expensive razor burn I ever got! One star for being friendly, one star for honoring my request the second time to NOT box in my hairline. If you’re looking for a classic haircut at a BARBER SHOP (not beauty salon) for a fair price, this is...
