Lack of customer service. My purpose for today's shipping excursion was originally for Target, but their credit card machine was down so I found myself wondering through different stores (5 to be exact) in this shopping center with the Target shopping cart. It was raining out and my 1 and 3 year olds we not ready to go home. While in Ross, my 3 year old told me she had to go to the restroom (we're potty training). Signs everywhere said to leave merchandise and carts outside, so I had to be buzzed in with a 1 year old on my hip and a toddler doing the potty dance. Upon leaving the restrooms, a female employee whom I can only guess was the manager barked at me that I had to leave the store with the Target cart. I have a slight attitude back that I'm leaving; luckily I had children with me or I would have told her about herself. Excellent customer service would have had her bringing me a Ross cart to put my two kids in, since I was with them alone and mothering is hard enough without silly rules. But, honestly, all I ask for is kindness. Instead, she was "kind enough" to follow me to register to make sure I was checking out. I would not have bought anything if I didn't anticipate a 3 year old melt down at the thought of her not getting her juice. I REALLY hate...
Read moreWe walked in and had the 1st impression that it appeared the store had been ransacked. The store itself needed cleaning - the floor looked as tho it hadn't been swept in quite some time. The racks that had signs saying the rack contained certain sizes were totally worthless! The sizes were just put where ever and it appeared no-one actually organized them recently. There were broken items strewn throughout the shelves in the housewares area. My son was trying on some clothes he managed to find and the attendants by the dressing room may not have spoken English. I can only imagine that may be the reason as they did not interact with any of the people. There was a very limited amount of anything - men's clothes, womens clothes, kids or baby clothes... We went to Ross as one of my son's friends had told him about the good deals and great clothes they had -- at the Ross that he went to... I guess each Ross is vastly different because this store didn't. There was definitely nothing at this store that would ever get me back in it! I may possibly try another location but this one was a huge...
Read moreI am always a fan of Ross. There is always trendy merchandise for a VERY good price. With a bit of searching, I can always find anything from professional teaching attire, to cute clothes for hitting up the town on a Saturday night. I’ve even gotten formal attire for dances. The facial/hair products are greatly discounted and quality. I always go there for all of my discounted cat toys. My store location is very well organized and everything hung up with care. When I want to try on any of their clothes, their dressing rooms are open again after COVID and I have never had to wait in line. There is usually an attendant there to help me get set up. They have a max of 8 items allowed into the private dressing room, however they have allowed me to bring back more than 8 if I bring another card with a number or it to keep track of the correct number of items. The only reason that I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is for the cleanliness of the dressing room. Could have used a good sweep and floor wax. Didn’t stop me from leaving the store with my arms full of shopping bags. I...
