I don't know who is in charge of the employment process at Boscov's. Whoever it is. They need to be fired themselves. When it comes to hiring & firing. Someone at Boscov's has it wrong. Horribly wrong. Let's just say the customer service is poor. Very poor. Unfriendly, rude, & unhelpful. Not to mention poor hygiene & dress code issues with one of the younger female employees. Although unfortunately, I could smell her. I couldn't tell if she was at work or rolling out of bed after a long weekend slumber. Nevertheless, there were a couple of great hard-working employees. I said were because they no longer work there for some reason. Unless they quit & I wouldn't blame them or were let go which I couldn't see why. Who knows. All I know is they are no longer working there, unfortunately. Then again in this day & age, sadly it seems like unpleasantness, mediocrity & poor workmanship are rewarded & hardworking, knowledgeable, & friendly individuals are dismissed & or fired. In stays, the bad & out goes the good. Go Figure! Another issue was Christmas Eve at Boscov's. I'm far from a grinch, but there is a time & place for everything. Drinking & being drunk at work isn't one of them. I could tell & smell on a few employees they'd been drinking on the job. Not to mention the employee that was drunk & passed out in one of the beds upstairs. It's a time to be Merry, not unprofessional. With that being said, How long does it take to restock their merchandise rather than just spread out what merchandise was left to make it look like they had stocked racks & shelves? Read moreI used to buy Hanes t shirts and undergarments years ago. So recently when they had Hanes products on sale I decided to buy some "A" shirts. Well the quality years ago had gone down to the point that I didn't want to buy Hanes anymore. Well, I recently discovered that the quality has not improved after all these years. The A shirts I bought are terrible quality. I pulled a string hanging from one of the shirts and the whole side of the shirt fell apart . The other shirts I wore and the wife washed them and the amount that they shrunk is almost laughable. They are almost half the size they were originally. I know certain cotton shrinks, but I have never seen this in my life. My wife was shocked. She is an avid fan of Boscovs as I am and we are shocked that they are selling this garbage. Shame on your buyers. I now know not to buy Hanes products again I should have learned my lesson years ago. I should have paid a little more and purchased Jockey products. Incidentally, I threw out two of the shirts I bought because they were unbearable. I think boscovs buyers need to try harder to look past the cost and Check out the quality.
