Todd was recommended by a friend of mine. I have a vintage Rolex that was passed down to me from my father. The bracelet is too big. I’ve been carrying around the watch for a year trying to figure out how to size it down.
My first stop was Rolex in nyc. they would not work on it since it’s vintage. I then brought it to another jeweler to overhaul it but he didn’t make it smaller. Then to took it to several local jewelers in NYC who said they could remove a link from the bracelet but since the bracelet was fixed, they would have to damage a link to do it; in addition, the bracelet is tapered so removing a link would be hard to match it back to the clasp. I didn’t want to buy a new bracelet so I tried Todd as a last ditch effort. Well, it turns out that the clasp has many folds to it and all the adjustments could be done at the clasp level. No damage to the bracelet was required. He figured it out in 2 seconds! It was a quick fix and he didn’t even charge me.
This has been a year’s journey. I am beyond thrilled with the outcome. Todd is clearly experienced and has worked with lots of Rolexes. I am thrilled to now have a go-to jeweler that...

I took the ring back to Crestwood Jewelers and had the work done for $80. If you want to save money go to Crestwood Jewelers. If you want to throw your money away to to...
