Miracle Pub — Restaurant in Toms River

For a very long time, I’m talking decades I wanted to come here and finally today I did for lunch. Very nice bar atmosphere inside with lots of tables on the outer walls for privacy.

I have three videos here, but I had a combo wrap of corn, beef and pastrami. I asked for a half-and-half and it was delicious. Served hot with fries perfectly done by tentative server named Donna.

This is one of those go to places, my wife had been here several times a few years ago and was extremely happy with the food and I see why. My friend had surf and turf scallops on top of steak bites pieces which look perfectly cooked to me he asked for medium. It is actually an appetizer, but it’s a sizable enough meal for most people.

I can’t find faults and I love when I can’t find faults.

A warning getting into the miracle pub is pretty tough from Route 37 eastbound there’s really only one way in from that direction and it’s in a small strip mall That you need to carefully navigate because it’s narrow to get to the miracle pub parking area. Tops drive 5 mph in this narrow parking lot that runs parallel with route 37 you have to slow way down for it.

The best way is to take the jug handle off of 37 that goes to Lakehurst Road, which is right in front of the miracle pub and the circle wraps around miracle pub and you come from behind the building where there is some odd angle parking, I would not want to come out at midnight, fearing another faced customer smack into my car. Find a safe place back there where your car is protected from other cars just a suggestion, but especially at night it’s wacky parking lot that is almost U-shaped but small.

it’s a pub atmosphere with music you could hear yourself sing at the table. It was comfortably loud.

What was nice a manager or owner I don’t know, came over just to say hello not bother us one bit just to see if everything was OK and he came back to do the same. It’s touches like that. It really make you go back to somewhere and I will be back back. Nice size menu so Check out their website.

I also have the men’s room here on video, that was sadly heavy uterine smell, as small as it is I still think they could keep us better smelling bathroom, but it was clean. I didn’t see any stains anywhere which is a thumbs up but they need better ventilation or some good deodorants. . It is very tiny as a galley style men’s room. Did not see a lock on the door, but it did have a partition where no one could actually see you at the urinal just FYI.

I love giving great reviews. It’s just not often enough, but this one here is a great review.

Quick update today is 14 March and went there for lunch today. My friend had a massive taco salad and I had a corn beef and pastrami mixed Reuben with fries, kinda like last time, but that was a wrap.

I got to say how much I like this place, our server Jen was wonderful. She kept me full of coffee and my friend plenty of sodas and chatted a little bit. Just the amount of time you want to spend with a server polite.

Strangely, and I’m gonna be really curious about this, when I walked in at the door said hi John follow me. Now I don’t have name tags on and I’ve only been there once I wonder if she saw the review or if she knows me from the real world , I hope to see her again.

Oh, for dessert I had chocolate cheesecake and he had rice pudding there in the videos. Oh, and the smelly men's room - it had a fresh scent for a men's room - lol.

First time I went it was great! Good food and nice server. I was so exited to come back! Today I went back with a group of my friends. Right alway the server was in a mood but I get it. It was a Friday night. Towards the end of the night after we got the bill! My friend bought a beer from the liquor store attached. When a server came over and said you can't have that can of beer on the table. Which I didn't quite understand because it was bought at the store attached to the restaurant. But it was whatever. I tend to have to go to the bathroom a lot which is no ones business. When me and my friend tried to go to the bathroom together when a manager yelled through her office that we can't go to the bathroom together. So I just walked into the stall by myself, which I totally understood. Even though I've worked in a restaurant business for over six years, and I would never tell a customer that they've been going to the bathroom too much. when I walk out to my car My friend tells me that the manager was saying to her that I went to the bathroom like nine times. My friend got in a debate with her saying that it's none of her business how many times go to the bathroom. Right away when I found out that the manager said that I had to go back in and say something. Right away I said to the manager did you comment on how many times I was going to the bathroom. She proceeded just to say that you can't go into the bathroom with more than one person which I completely understood and I said that. but I even said to her that it's not her place to comment on how many times I go to the bathroom and I have a bladder condition. And once again, she said "you can't go in with more than one person" and I said "I understand that" once again. Then finally, she said that it's her job to keep an eye on the bathroom and what I'm doing in there . And I said to her all "I'm doing is peeing so it's your job to keep an eye on me peeing"? And she proceeded to say " have a good night". Which left me very offended and very upset considering I can't control how much I go to the bathroom. I wasn't even drinking l that night. I am also upset because the first time I was there I truly had an amazing experience. I am not a whoever leaves a tip below 20%. But today left me with no words. Not even for nothing I am studying in school of the hospitality business and I would never say that to a customer. I can't imagine you're going to the bathroom too much!! like how is that anyone's business especially if I was just going to the bathroom to pee! I rated this food five stars cuz it's a place I've never had a bad meal. I also rated the atmosphere five stars I did enjoy the atmosphere. I gave the service one star. But then changed it after talk with Mike the owner about his rule correction VERY FIRM RULE Due to what happened to THEM AWHILE BACK. Well I came in as I always due for my dinner and a beer or 10 LOL JK a beer or 2. But then I had to leave for a little bit about 2 hours ish. When I got back I've never been so embarrassed and so livid over what happened that night. You had a bartender that asked MIke the bartender to get me my usual. He said no he was here once already earlier today.

I'm sorry I apologize for helping an elderly lady with her big dogs that she has a hard time getting back in after they go out so I went over there. But when I got back the female bartender that I was talking about knew I was leaving and coming back because I said to her damn i need to leave and help somebody and I hope I don't lose my seat Because I have to leave and help somebody take care of something and I'm going to lose my seat while watching the game. So apparently it's management policy that once you leave you cannot be served again you cannot be served twice in one day but they would have served me 4 5 6 7 beers at one sitting this should be left to your bartenders common sense you can look at me and tell that I have not had a drink for quite some time it's a ridiculous policyI understand you lost your license a while back and it was completely not your fault but they took your license anyway which was wrong. So that particular bartender has my card and can get you my phone number off that card. This review will stand temporarily hopefully within the next week if not I will have to leave this review Google has me as a highly rated reviewer not sure if you can see that or not just letting you know. I do nothing but recommend your place Mike I truly hope I hear back from you and this gets resolved. The screwed up point is one of your bartenders that wasn't even on duty used her common sense and the one that was working took what he says is company policy as the Bible keeps him from using his brain and obvious common sense.
