I shop at this market almost every week. On occasion I get bad produce and chalk it up bad choice on my part. Sunday I bought a cantaloupe. Cut it open later in the day and the inside was rotted & black. I wrapped it up and returned to the store next day to show owner. Very disappointed that she tried to tell me that I didn't buy it there, that was until the other woman spoke up and remembered our conversation and handed me a replacement. Good place if ur in a pinch but make sure u check ur veggies. And don’t recommend buying veggies they repackage as I’ve viewed guy in back w no gloves loading up the bags. So ur getting veggies probably from hunts point in Bronx that they buy in bulk and repackage. That’s a lot of hands in ur veggies. And they don’t last but a few days. I was in the store on Tuesday with my 82 year old mother who is blind. The cashier had the nerve to say to my mother, “you baby, you baby” you touch things. How dare you say that to someone. The produce was old and very soft to begin with. Isn’t that how you see if fruit is fresh or not ? Plus where are your manners we will never step foot in this store again. No respect!!!!
