Ollie's Bargain Outlet — Local services in Toms River

Listen, sure I go to this place pretty often. It's kind of funny honestly and you can get some really cheap personal care products if you're lucky and they have stuff in stock. They also have a somewhat decent stock of dog toys and with us having a new giant Great Pyrenees puppy we need a lot of toys. But I am not going to give something owned by shareholders and non-working individuals five stars. I'm not going to give it two stars. If I could give it no stars I happily would. These box stores do nothing but suck money out of communities and give it to shareholders and other people of the non-working class. Not a fan of any of these places. I'd be as likely to rate Ollie's five stars as I would home Depot. It's just not going to happen. This isn't a reflection on the people there, in fact I love the cashiers. As far as everyone we've dealt with their kind and decent. This review is about the business, the chain, the CEOs and other non-working executives who suck the money out of things like this....

I went into Ollie’s for the first time today with my son and my grandmother. The store overall has a bunch of nice things for a great price which is amazing. However I’m giving 3 stars because some of the staff here are absolutely repulsive. The cashier Joanne i believe her name was, was the most ignorant and rude person i have ever met. The faces and body language she was aiming towards my grandmother was enough to make me vomit all because my grandmother wanted to know if she can use her ollies card and then asked where the customer service desk was. How a company can hire someone who clearly doesn’t belong in customer service, well I’ll never know. But the store itself was amazing, maybe just rethink some...

It's my first time into the place, still trying to figure it out. Prices in general are a bit lower than what I would find at Walmart or other large retailers but it seems like they might have it today and not have it tomorrow. So if I had some spare cash and didn't know what I wanted to spend it on, this would be a great place to go, but if I was looking for a specific item or something fungible with it. The fact that they might not have that item or something very close to it might cause me to go to a store where I was sure I could get what I needed.
