Do not waste your time with this location. I have had two bad experiences and I should have learned from my first visit but I did not. The first time they ruined a Tumi money clip I took there to have engraved. They said they could do it with no problem with the font I chose using a machine. When they returned it to me the engraving did not turn out as we agreed. The letters were connected by link. When I told them about my dissatisfaction, the response was, "it did that because of the curvature of the money clip". They should know what their equipment can and cannot do instead of giving an excuse for the botched job. The second time was just to add a link to a watch. This business is still open at the South Bay Galleria. My silver bracelet needed a very minor repair. A loop at the clasp needed to be replaced as it broke. Hard to imagine something as basic as this could go wrong. This store charged me 35 dollars to replace just the loop. The fully sterling silver bracelet cost me 45 dollars!! They then took 4 days to do the repair because it was the weekend. They promised to polish the bracelet and make it look like new but when I got it back, it was not polished and looked the same. And worst of all the clasp is damaged. It’s an antique ID bracelet that has a lot of sentimental value to me and those clasps cannot be replaced. The guy didn’t seem to care. Incredibly disappointed. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at this location. The Asian lady and the South American watch repair technician were not very friendly. They were unable to repair my watch and, in fact, caused damage to it. When I asked if they could fix it, both the technician and the lady refused, appearing to be motivated solely by financial interests. I would strongly advise against visiting this establishment if you want to avoid damaging your watch or jewelry. I hope that the management will take action to address these issues, including replacing the current staff.
