Marsha’s Sweet Cakes & Rolled Ice Cream — Restaurant in Torrance

My fiancé and I had been hunting for a wedding cake for a while. All of our other cake taste tests were unimpressive. Then we discovered Marsha's Sweet Cakes. She was able to fit us in immediately for a cake taste test. The experience was ten times greater than anything we'd done previously. Her presentation was stunning. But most importantly, her cakes are so delicious that we couldn't pick a favorite because each one was as good as the previous. In the end, we chose a three-tiered, three-flavor cake. The base was lemon, the middle was her snow white buttercream, and the top tier was her strawberry cake, which had strawberries within. We also bought a dozen chocolate cupcakes. We provided her with some ideas for the design of our wedding cake, but ultimately granted her artistic freedom. We were not disappointed; the cake and the cupcakes was exquisite. She is a genuinely talented person. And I'm so glad we found her. She also stayed during the Reception to help cut and serve the cake. She went above and beyond, even helping to refill our grazing table. If you need someone to prepare a cake for your next event, look no further. I assure you won't be disappointed. Marsha was incredible. We were looking for someone who could provide all the dessert for our wedding, bring us something other than a traditional wedding cake experience, and also bring some extra flair to our big day. Marsha did all that and more. Our cake table was decorated so beautifully! She made the most delicious cupcakes of all different flavors for our guests to enjoy. She even made an ADORABLE cake topper for us that everyone raved about.

In addition, Marsha made us a gorgeous, delicious, moist 3 layer cake , and she even was able to bring a ROLLED ICE cart too! People could not get over how cool it was to have rolled ice cream at our wedding, especially because Marsha had extra cupcakes to put in with the ice cream.

She was so collaborative, easy to work with, and fun. Everything we asked her to do, she accommodate, often gently giving her sage advice along the way.

We could not possibly recommend Marsha any higher than we do. She is absolutely incredible and soooo many people raved about their experience with her at our wedding.

I ordered a cake from Marsha for my daughters 15, and I was absolutely blown away by the service she provided. From the moment I first reached out to her to get a quote, she went above and beyond. She worked with my budget and created a gorgeous cake. My daughter was extremely happy with her cake. Not only was it beautiful, it was delicious. Marsha personally delivered the cake to the venue she set it up and decorated the table with what we had. (The cake table decoration we ordered, didn’t make it to the venue) A few hours later she came back to cut the cake. My guests were delighted when she announced the cake was ready to enjoy and she explained the flavors. All night I was running up and down and just busy, that I didn’t get to take any pictures, but Marsha did. She paid attention to every little detail and that made a huge impact that night.
