This theater has a lot of history to it. My grandparents used to go here all the time on dates when teenagers.
I did not like how they took down the classic, historical ticket booth that used to be out front when the new owners remodeled. Despite that little gripe, the new owners are awesome and are keeping this place open for the community to enjoy. The profits go straight to keeping the lights on and paying other overhead costs. The frozen yogurt is a new concept here and is very delicious, along with the same great popcorn as before!
There is a lot of communication by the owner on the theater's Facebook page, so that is your best source to stay updated on what movies are playing, other announcements, and to even request movies for them to bring. They also will host private events. Great people to do...

There was no price list to see how much it costed to get in. So while you were waiting in line you had no idea what you were going to buy for treats as you didn't know how much it cost to get in. Then the popcorn was kettle corn or something like it, NOT your yummy movie popcorn that is so wonderful and you had to fill your own pop. Read moreFirst of all, the concession prices are amazing! Far more reasonable than any other theater I have been to in the past couple years. They do not take cards at the box office, which was not terribly convenient, but did offer an ATM inside. As for the movie itself, the screen was good quality and while the speakers weren't the best quality, it was plenty loud, which I enjoy. The seats are comfortable and we had a good view, even with people in front of us. Overall I would definitely recommend this theater if you are...
