We wish we could love this place and have visited pretty regularly since February (there aren’t too many restaurants in Torrington), but even after what appears to be a staff/owner change, it’s gotten worse and I think we’re done trying. We do enjoy the food although sometimes the chips are stale.
It is also a gamble on if they are open during their published hours so call ahead.
Our most recent visit we arrived a little before 7pm and there weren’t many tables open because they were all dirty from previous guests. These tables remained dirty until around 7:45pm. It took 5+ minutes to be waited on. It took close to 10 minutes to get our drinks and complimentary chips/salsa, however the waitress forgot what drink I ordered in that time and had to go back and get it. Finally I got my drink and the complimentary salsa was poured into two small styrofoam cups (usually they bring bowls and a container of salsa to pour from). While waiting for our drinks and complimentary salsa, etc., guests who came in after us were being taken care of first.
We were told that the kitchen closes at 7:30pm so we needed to put our order in. At 7:45pm, another group of guests came in and were served menus. So I’m assuming the kitchens did not close at 7:30pm like we were told.
The service wait times are long, items/food you ask for are often forgotten or take a long time to be brought to you, you have to ask for drink refills, you have to go find your own to-go box, and as I stated before, it’s a gamble on when they’re open or when they decide to close.
We leave great tips for great service and unfortunately we haven’t had the opportunity to tip at this restaurant in a long time. We hope the service gets better so that visiting this restaurant is a much...
Read more4 of us went to San Pedros in Torrington WY for lunch today. Left with a $70 bill...... We ordered 2 specials Nachos San Pedro at $11.99 each, Tacos de carne asada at $8.99, Fajita for 1 at $12.99, side of guac at $1.99, 2 sodas at $2.75 each. Total before tax was $53.45. How is it $17.45 for taxes? The "new" waitress never provided a bill. Had to go to counter and someone entered it all in the register to get this outrageous bill total. I didn't know there was an issue as my aunt had gone up to pay and didn't tell me all of this until we left the restaurant. She was nice but was in back talking to another employee the whole time instead of waiting on her customers. There were about 5 tables in service, so not busy at all. Checked on us 1 time. Empty soda and water glasses. The food was good but the rest of the business is shady. I tried calling and it's...

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I guess the one star is for good customer service.
Salsa tastes like they mixed cilantro, onion, tomato sauce, and Old El Paso taco seasoning together. Had zero spice to it. I gaged when taking a bite of my burrito and they barely put any meat in it. My burrito was basically flat when they brought it out to me. Didn't even properly wrap it up like a burrito, just folded the sides over. Wasted $12 cause I couldn't even eat it. I respect the hustle and I try to support small businesses, but they need to put more love into their food. They're just trying to finesse a quick buck out of you. Won't go here again, even if they're giving away free food.
Best part is the beer and the...
