Kohl's — Local services in Town of Amsterdam

It may sound weird to need emergency cargo pants but I did. I also had no idea the store closed early at 8pm because of covid. I arrived at 7:56 and instead of being annoyed, the staff was incredibly helpful and kind. One gentleman asked what I needed and brought me directly to the section. He'd already asked me about size, fit, and color. He helped me quickly find exactly what I needed and didn't rush me at all. It was like having a personal shopper. He joked, was friendly and professional the entire time he lead me in the store. I didn't want to be disrespectful of their time, so once i found my shorts I went straight to the register. Again despite being technically closed , and wanting to go home, the entire staff greeted me with genuine smiles and didn't try to rush me out the door.

I cannot tell you, how much I appreciated this amazing customer service, and kindness. I managed to make it to my car before 8:05.

Very poor constomer service. I am never usually the type to leave a review because of a bad experience, but it really ruined my mood for the rest of the night. I came in on the day I'm writing this and all I did was ask one employee, who was an older lady with blond hair, if you guys carry any nursing scrubs. She told me "no we don't carry those", and I quickly mentioned that I also couldn't find any at the target or Walmart. She very rudely cut me off and in a snarky voice just repeated that they don't carry them in this store and then gave a very fake and condescending smile. It's been a few days and I can't get this horrible experience out of my head. I was followed around the store the whole time I was shopping. It was literally so uncomfortable everytime I turned around an employee was looking over my shoulder. I was at the shoe department trying sneakers on and it had become so obvious that I was being watched I put the sneakers down. I paid for my 2 items only because I had khols cash if not I wouldn't have purchased anything.
