My experience with Rent-A-Center (Branch/Location: 850 W Miller St, Newark, NY 14513...Near the Wegmans Plaza). I just moved and was in desperate need of a new bed (as quick as possible)!
I filled out an online application on their app... and within MINUTES I received a responding call from an EXELLENT Customer Sales Representative VICTOR! Victor reached out to me to inquire about my needs exactly answer what I was looking for in detail. I explained to him the rush I was in and why what a big deal was that I obtained such an item as soon as possible he told me to come right down to the store right then or anytime after at my convenience during their opening hours and you would be more than happy to talk over details and make sure he figured out an arrangement for me to make sure I was satisfied.
Of course my dear you ran long and I never made it into the Rent-A-Center location until the following afternoon. As I walked in the store I was greeted kindly right at the door buy a very nice gentleman who happened to be Victor whom I spoke with the previous day! I explain to him I was and he remembered me vividly and taking the initiative to pick me out the most extremely softest mattress I've ever felt and ran with my application and put the order in for me and it was already set and ready to be delivered to my house that afternoon if not the following day! At that time I had some more time to think and of course wanted to manipulate the contract as for details the items and add more and he had no problem with that whatsoever sad I was all set with in no time at all after leaving the store location I had received the online rental agreement. With that I was still even a little unsure of how to go about feeling that out or if it was even spam mail lol of course I called in inquired and he was kind enough to walk me through the steps of the procedure and made the whole entire process so stress free he was very prompt he went out of his way to over exceed what I even it deserved as for my request on my initial application and accommodated my rushed timing!!!!
I sincerely can't say enough great things about this specific customer service representative. Between his prompt follow up, his attentiveness to detail, his charisma, understanding, professionalism and tolerance for the obnoxious public when needing such things on demand (like myself. LOL) He really gave me reason to believe that there still are good hard-working people out there with great customer service to offer with a strong work ethic as he represented to me, himself that day. He illustrated GREAT Pride in his work, as it showed! I clearly can't make mention of this enough, as I am truly so thankful!!!
As a business owner myself, I had to make sure to take the time to give this specific individual a rave review! I believe in giving credit when credit is due! I know most individuals out there like myself have noticed that sense the pandemic it's nearly impossible to find good customer service nowadays. However, Victor proved that not to be the case and illustrated that there is still are good hard workers out there that kindly take pride in their work and go out of their way, above and beyond for sure, without financial incentive being the only reason to get them to do so!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STORE & Company, as well as this specific individual: VICTOR, to do any customer relations for business to be done with if possible! His skills are on point!
Yes, remember the name guys! because he's worth the reach if choosing your sales representative is a possibility! I can almost guarantee that he will make sure not to disappoint!

I paid $229 for various fees and the first months rental. I didn’t get on it until the 16th day and realized there was no disc drive, which I utilize a lot, for work. I take it in to return it, expecting by returning it and not renting for the full month, I’d get a refund. Nope, they will not refund even when returned, they keep your money then re-sell and/or re-rent taking the next persons money, as well. I’m shocked by this. So the male employee grabs it, when I said okay, I’ll keep it and you can fight to get it back. At first, he would not let go and I said, Sir, I paid for this, I’m taking it for the term I already paid for. He pulled back and said but you said you’re returning it. I then said, let go, I already paid for it. He did let go without a physical incident happening but I am appalled at the fact they will not refund money when you are not physically in possession of the item and returning it for another to rent.
