Larkinville Ghost Walk - went on the October 5, 2019 ghost walk. I DO NOT recommend this walk. My family and I have attended similar walks in Cape Cod and North Carolina and found them entertaining. This walk was a history tour at best - no talks of hauntings, ghosts or paranormal. Not scary at all. Further, the group leader was ill prepared, his audio device didn't work (so the large audience in attendance couldn't hear him) and he was not aware of the path, surprised by construction, he seemed to make it up as he went. Some history, no jokes, no spooks ... bummer, my family and out of town guests were so looking forward to this. Read moreI’m sorry to give this 2 stars but hear me out. Our tour guide was great very knowledgeable and informative she gets a 5 but what you want this to be and what it actually is, is not worth $20 bucks. They give you these $5 dollar emf detectors like they are gonna catch something. Mind you, you do not go into any building. So they want to to try and get a reading from outside ? It’s honestly more then anything a ghost story tour that’s all you’re going to get. So all you paranormal wannabe investigators like me don’t waste you’re time or money on this. They need to go into the buildings maybe I would of gave it a 4 star rating. Sorry not sorry this is the definition of a tourist...

The tour guide mentioned one thing about a ghost. The rest of the tour was jabber about the war of 1812 and architectural facts that nobody paid to listen to. We left early, as well as seven other people. I do not recommend this tour for anyone who is looking to do something spooky during the spookiest time of year. Very...
