The Deli — Restaurant in Town of Aurora

The best sandwiches I have had in a long time! We got the meatball and the Valledolmo - I would recommend both! I didn't even know what half of the stuff was on the Valledolmo but it was amazing! The meatball sub had amazing sauce and lots of cheese. I would recommend ordering ahead if you are going there we waited at least 15 minutes for them to make 2 sandwiches. With the sandwiches you got some tortilla chips but when I say some I think I got 3 - I wish they gave more because they were very good. Just for pricing we got 2 sandwhiches, 2 sparkling waters, and 1 bag of chips and it was $35. The music was nice. The atmosphere could use some work - they had some boxes and opened packages for everyone to see when you walked in to the right (right in front of the soup sign - which for me I didn't even know they sold soup). This place is TERRIFIC! Easily as good as most NYC deli's. Their cold cut heros are fantastic - my new favorite is the Valledolmo - mortadella, soppressata, capicola, fontinella cheese and red wine vinagrette. Amazing and the perfect amount of heat from the Cappy. All the sandwiches are great - I do wish they had some better sides, like maybe some caprese salad or pasta salad. I'm hooked on their chicken cutlets too, although I strongly recommend springing for a second cutlet. They have amazing fruit scones and quiet possibly the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had. Wow! Talk about friendly staff! I found them because my GPS took me there instead of the business around the corner for my yelp elite bagel pickup. The guys working the deli counter asked their dad about where the bagel pick up was and he actually walked me there! We talked about me living in Chautauqua and places to eat there and here. I went in to buy some things from them and tip them well. The place was so clean and smelled amazing! All of the staff were beyond welcoming! I bought a banana pepper habanero hot sauce, 2 slices of take and heat lasagna, chips, deli meat, and a take and heat frozen pasta with vodka sauce and sausage. Wow!
