Taste Bistro & Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Town of Aurora

I stopped into taste with some friends for an impromptu brunch after Pilates. I’ve passed this place so many times and have not had the pleasure to dine here until today. Taste is a copper cute and cozy fast casual spot to grab a meal, snack or a beverage. They have breakfast, sandwiches, salads, soups, smoothies, teas and coffees made with fresh and high quality ingredients. You place your order and seat yourself at one of their many tables and pick up your order when it’s ready at the counter. An adorable touch here is that they pick a famous character and pair it with your order to call out when your food is ready. It was fun and cute to see who everyone got. I was paired with Wonder Woman!

I ordered a white chicken chili and an iced coffee with oat milk. The white chicken chili was delicious, very flavorful and had lots of chicken, white beans and just a little kick of heat from jalepenos. It came with a very cute and delicious looking roll which I was not able to sample myself. The coffee was fresh and delicious. Plenty of caffeine for a wake up but not so much I was jittery. My friends ordered breakfasts which were generously portioned and all looked delish.

I did ask about gf bread and they said they have rolls but just ran out. So that’s a nice perk for the gf folks. Overall a good experience even though I can’t eat a ton on the menu. But I’d highly recommend if you are...

My Boys and I frequently visit East Aurora for all their events and they’re fine dining and especially enjoy Taste Bistro.😊 Their food and their coffee’s are outstanding👍 I had made a mistake in ordering and had the Pleasure in meeting the owner (Nikki Gawron) what a “Awesome Person” to do business with. In light of everything going on in our lives and in the world! People having so many complications and difficulties and the uneasiness of businesses in today’s society. This is intended as constructive feedback. Nice location and atmosphere. We went as the lobster roll here is listed as one of the 13 best lobster rolls in the Buffalo area. It is all we had. It was stuffed and looked great. The bun was fine. But we were quite disappointed. It was pretty salty. But we expected a real lobster roll. It is a lobster salad. Maybe we missed that point on the menu. Maybe the price was a clue. It has some lobster, but quite a bit of filler (imitation crab, pollock, etc.).
