Village Play — Local services in Town of Aurora

I hosted my son’s birthday party here, and myself and our entire list of guests who were able to attend would agree they do not recommend Village Play for birthday parties after our experience yesterday. Every parent acknowledged the parking lot and parking situation as soon as they arrived to my child’s party and stated how absolutely livid they would be if this was their child’s party. Imagine that being your kids party. The entire parking lot was full of a farmers market when arriving, it was nearly impossible to drive through to gain access to the building to unload of our party supplies. All of my guests needed to find street parking, six blocks if not more, down the road. My guests parked and arrived 20-30 later, when I already have a limited time here. I was not made aware of this event in the parking lot (that occurs every other week on Sundays) when I booked. I would never have booked a private party space that didn’t include their private parking lot, for this price. This is not a high-end place to host your children’s parties, it was a carelessly ran venue space who did not care about our party experience. I was contacted to change my original party time from 1-3 to 12-2 because the next party wanted to add an hour on, but was still not made aware that the parking lot would have ten tents and a farmers market going on and you wouldn’t even be able to see the building when driving by… Save your $350 and run your...

Planned a duel birthday party for our boys and I was absolutely blown away! First and foremost, I added the additional set up and clean up of party decor/supplies which was an absolute game changer- who knew you could host a toddler party and not feel overwhelmed? NAILED IT VILLAGE PLAY. Secondly, cleanest indoor play for toddlers I’ve ever been to! No overstimulating colors or background noise. Next: restrooms are fully stocked for needs from baby changing to step-stools for handwashing littles, coffee was delightful and there’s even snacks. Communication while planning was wonderful and professional to make the entire experience start to finish superb. We love village play in EA! The owner is super friendly, she always answer's any questions, concerns, calls. The young woman working the desk was also super nice, gave the kids stickers when leaving because leaving village play is hard!

Overall, A Very clean, very fun place for the kids. I bring my two year old and three and a half year old and they both have a great time. Even my husband says “thats such a great place for the kids.”

Only recommendation would be to take away the straw cup/ smoothies from the play kitchen. They look really real lol (as silly as that sounds) and i watched 4 or 5 toddlers in the hour we were there put it in their mouth! They couldn't resist ha!

Other than that very minuscule thing, village play is perfect and we will keep coming as much as we can!...
