**Taheni Mediterranean Grill Review** If you’re craving a flavorful and diverse range of Mediterranean-inspired dishes, **Taheni Mediterranean Grill** is the place to be. This local gem offers a rich menu that seamlessly blends classic Middle Eastern favorites with breakfast staples, ensuring that there’s something for everyone. The **falafel** here is absolutely top-notch—crispy on the outside and perfectly seasoned on the inside, it’s a must-try for anyone who appreciates this iconic dish. The **shawarma** is equally impressive, with tender, well-spiced meat wrapped in a warm pita or flatbread, served with fresh toppings and a delicious garlic sauce that enhances the whole experience. What makes Taheni stand out even more is its diverse menu. You can enjoy a hearty **burger** that’s cooked to perfection or indulge in their comforting breakfast options, including fluffy **pancakes** and savory **omelets** loaded with fresh ingredients. Whether you’re in the mood for something light and flavorful or a satisfying meal to start your day, they have you covered. In addition to the standout falafel and shawarma, the menu also includes a range of other delicious Mediterranean dishes, all prepared with care and high-quality ingredients. The combination of friendly service, a cozy atmosphere, and an eclectic menu makes Taheni Mediterranean Grill a must-visit spot for food lovers. Whether you're stopping by for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you’re in for a treat. Highly recommend!

I am a vegetarian and a very snooty vegetarian at that. I am a very good cook who works very well with flavors and spices. And so I can say this. This Palestinian dive has some of the best Mediterranean dishes....in New York. Most places and people have no idea at all on how to make soft and well cooked falafel. But I got a falafel platter with mujhadara ( lentil rice) and tabouleh. For sides I chose babaganoush and hummus. Got their tatziki and housemade hot sauce. On the side was one fresh homemade pita. Us got a sweet hibiscus cold tea. Every single thing was out of the ballpark fantastic. Flavors, spice, ingredients just perfectly balanced. I hardly ever go back to the same restaurant.....but this one.....I intend to go again and again. Can't wait for my son to come back from college so that I can bring him here for some delicious Palestinian food.🙏

Seriously good food here. I'm Middle Eastern so for me to taste these things and have it feel like home is wonderful. I got the chicken shwarma, kofta shwarma, zatar fries and the greek fries, and baba ganoush with my partner. You know they care about the food. The shwarma was tightly wrapped, the fries tossed not topped with seasonings, and their pita was fantastic. Try their hibiscus tea, by the way. I do hope they continue to evolve the interior so there's more comfortable/approachable seating. The wall not pictured is painted concrete, making it look very unfinished. I ate in and it was fine, but it could use a little more love as time goes on. Its well on its way to being polished so don't discredit them for their appearance.

I was referred to this restaurant by a friend of mine, and I was looking for catering options for an event. For some context, I work for the Zakat Foundation of America, and we just had a grand opening event in Long Island.

From the moment your tongue touches their food, it's clear that you're about to experience something extraordinary. I must say, they exceeded every expectation with flying colors.

The entire process was seamless, from the initial consultation where we were met with attentive ears and creative suggestions, to the punctual delivery of wonderfully presented, mouthwatering cuisine. The team at Taheni executes catering at its finest, ensuring that your event is not just catered but curated with care and expertise.

The star of the event was, undeniably, the food. Each dish spoke volumes of the skilled chefs behind them, with flavors that danced harmoniously on the palate. Their attention to detail was impeccable - fresh, locally-sourced ingredients were transformed into beautiful plates of culinary art. The menu boasted a diverse range of options, accommodating every dietary need without compromising on taste or presentation.

If you haven’t had the pleasure of experiencing Taheni yet, please get on it ASAP! Whether it’s for catering or an event, or just taking out for lunch, you will NOT be...

Do yourself a SOLID and go to Taheni - Lindenhurst and order the Grilled Cheese Pita Angus Burger (double patty preferably). I was a bit skeptical at first because of such an odd concept but man, oh man, was I blown away. I'm gonna start with the meat because just WOW. I could tell from the first bite they really meant it when they added Angus to the name of the patty. It's tastes like a great blend and I wouldn't be surprised if it was 80/20 mix. Just cooked perfectly and practically melted in my mouth with all the fixings inside the sandwich. On to the Pita (bun?), it worked with this burger extremely well. Two pita's slathered with some american cheese in between each did wonders. The pita's themselves were perfectly pillowy soft in the middle and had a nice crunch on the outside. It really compliments the burger and the whole theme of the restaurant being Mediterranean. They do offer turkish pickle alongside the burger but I opted out as Im not too big a fan of them. Although, next time I will definitely try "The Heat' version which is their spicy take on the burger. Really think this would take the burger to another level for those who like spice! Only gripe is that it was slightly messy. Not that I was complaining-- just a friendly warning for those who can't wait to get home before trying...
