I can't say enough great things about this gem in downtown Farmingdale. My mom raved to me about this place for years and I finally had an opportunity to use them to restore a vintage sofa and family heirloom. All I can say is WOW! Kevin was a complete pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process. I never felt pushed or "sold" . I felt trust, guidance and encouragement. Beautiful and endless arrays of fabric selection which Kevin helped me narrow down and choose a beautiful material that was a perfect fit and didn't blow up my budget. The care with which they removed the old and replaced with the new was outstanding and they did it much quicker than I anticipated. It is 90% done now and just waiting for one decision from me---I cannot WAIT to post before and after photos. Once again, Avanti Furniture to the rescue. Three years ago, Kevin, Thomas & Clarese worked marvelously to help us restore dining room chairs with new fabric as well as refurbish a desk, desk chair and drop leaf table. Most recently, they expertly recovered our living room sofa which we thought we would have to replace. Kevin came to our home multiple times to check the structure of the sofa, helped us choose the perfect fabric and see the fabric selection on the sofa in relation to the other pieces in the room. We had a sectional sofa reupholstered by Avanti 5 years ago. They were so helpful and did a wonderful job on it. It actually looks better than it did when it was new. They rebuilt some of the wooden frame that was broken, so it was like getting new furniture again. They came and picked up the sofa, and dropped it off again when it was finished. We could not be happier. Recently we also needed to wash the covers on our outside furniture and Avanti helped us by taking the covers off of the inside pads and putting them back on again after they were cleaned.
