We went by to have two hand painted Chinese Rice Paper Art Pieces made by my wife's late father, framed to have on display at our home. The attention to detail and quality to making sure you have the look and quality feel of the work to be framed with proper colors and final look was more like a family member or a good family friend going over the order details. They have several Art Pieces on display from different artist and will have gallery showings from time to time. It feels more like a small shop in NYC's SoHo rather than Long Island. I mean that in best compliment to work and detail I can give. We have to pick up the finalized work in 10 days but I am sure it will be EXCELLENT work. They work with you to help you fit a budget YOU have in mind rather than try to upsell you. Maybe not the cheapest in price but very fair and remember "You get what you pay for!" You want cheap you get cheap work. I have to come back and give ratings on work but I am really impressed so far.

Well 10 days as promised, I was called to let me know the work was completed and ready for pickup. We were not disappointed!!! The work was beautifully done. Excellent craftsmanship and attention to details. I am attaching photos of the two pieces but let me say my photo's do no justice to the work done on the pieces. My wife is out of town but I emailed her the two photos and she was thrilled! We now have the paintings to hand down the family for future generations to see and enjoy the artwork. I was looking to have my wedding photo done for my wife as part of her birthday gift and needed it done ASAP. I was on my way to ACmoore when I saw the sign for this place. Looked like an industrial building from the outside and it said "wholesale to public" so I thought I'd give it a try. The guys behinid the counter are the owners and they are extremely helpful and patient. Im kind of picky so they guided me into getting a beautiful ornate gold frame with suede matting and another accent frame on the inside ofthe matting. I loved the layout but was afraid of to hear the price. They assured me that It was them doing the framing so they keep the cost down and to my surprise I was very affordable. Much less then I have paid for lesser jobs at ACmoore or Michaels. It was done within the week and my wife was not only surprised to see how thoughful my gift was but she thought it cost me a fortune. They really did an amazing job and I would reccomend this place to anyone looking for a true art gallery framing experience. Very personal service.

They are open on weekends and late nights so it was convenitent and they have plenty of parking.

Excellent customer service and great variety. I admit I went to Abbott Frames first. I needed a mat to put in the back of a shadow box. After being at Abbott for about 10 minutes the owner said that he needed to get back to work because he couldn't "waste" anymore time on a $30 sale. I was stunned. I left of course, googled and saw that Cambridge was right down the road. What a difference! From the moment I walked in the staff was friendly and willing to help. They spent all the time I needed and kept pulling out mats until I found something I liked. I was going to be mounting black and white sharks teeth on the mat and the woman that was helping me actually went outside and found a white pebble and a black one for me to see against the mat! THAT is above and beyond service. I can not recommend them highly enough. I was not dismissed or demeaned for being a small sale and never felt rushed. Their price was the same as Abbott so they are definitely competitively priced and actually had more to choose from.
