Worse service ever! I had an accident with my iPhone, and both screens (front and back) were broken, and in the front part the broken area was exactly where the camera and sensors are. So I went to iFixScreens to ask if the phone could be fixed and if it would continue working good, and Omar told me he would fix everything and the phone would be in perfect conditions after that, I asked about five times if everything was going to work perfectly or if there was going to be something that wouldn't work well, because I also had the option of buying another phone, and Omar said the phone would be working 100%. He charged me the value, which I had not regret about it, and two days after when I picked the phone up I realized about the bad job. First of all, the screens were not properly sealed, all the edges were open and if pressure was made, the screen was stuck and took off again. They used the most generic screens, and it’s okay, but at least do a good job with that. Second, of course the camera was broken and they didn’t change it, they put the same broken camera!! You can even see how the camera is broken and they didn’t do anything about it, so of course the camera was not working at all. The NFC was not working neither, since they put a generic screens and didn’t take the time to fix that. The speaker was not working so I only could do out loud calls. So I decided to go back and show them all the things that were not working, and Omar said he charged me only for the screens, which it’s very dishonest because from the beginning I asked him to fix everything bad in the phone, no matter the value. Then, he said he would check the phone again and asked me to let it there one more day, same day he called me and asked me for more time with the phone, well it was a month and nothing fix, and beside that, they told me I have to pay more for the rest of the things that were not working. I’m very disappointed with this, because since the first day I asked Omar to fix everything in the phone, no matter how much I have to pay, and he assured me that he would fix everything and the phone would work perfectly. Read moreI wish I never brought my phone to iFixScreens Lindenhurst. I am not satisfied with service provided. The replacement screen installed does not function satisfactorily. When questioned, the staff reported it is the correct one for the phone. The color huenis incorrect, the screen cannot be seen while outside, and the original screen went edge to edge, while the new one has a black border surrounding the entire screen. While inspecting the phone, I am looking to replace the screen myself, I noticed that the back of the phone is just glued on, from the manufacturer. While the service was performed, the old adhesive was never cleaned up, and no new adhesive was ever used to secure the back panel. I think more care and professionalism should be displayed.
I reached out to the store twice, and have not received a response. I also stopped in to discuss the issues, and that was when I was told it is the correct screen, and that was when I left. They seemed to have washed their hands of the issues, and want nothing to do with the poor results. Now it seems only the protective clear screen was damaged, and should have been replaced, rather than the entire display.
Now the phone is not what it was, and I have no place to turn to for support. This has been a horrible experience, and would never recommend iFixScreens Lindenhurst, to anyone. Pay the price, and have an authorized dealer fix...
Read moreIt’s run by a lady but the workers are young kids who are very inexperienced. She at first try to tell me that my phone was bent meanwhile it’s was the cheap quality screen that was messed up while trying to put it on. Then once she brought it to the back to put on another screen it fit a whole lot better but the screen was still having some issues because “my phone was bent”. Couple weeks go by and the screen goes bad and I go somewhere else and the person there showed me how they bent a lot of the wires and didn’t route them correctly. So a lot of the issues were because of that. So once the new screen was put in and routed correctly my phone had no issues and show that my phone was not bent. So be careful here very inexperienced and plus they give incentive for you to write a good review for a discount on the spot. Also forgot to mentioned she dropped my phone while she was having it fixed in the back the and I also asked if they were going to put a water resistant seal and they said yes meanwhile in the back I hear her whispering “he won’t know”.
