Smashburger — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

I live in the area I've been going to this location since it opened. Today my husband had the worst experience they have a whole new crew. He went to get us burgers it took them an hour to make two burgers and fries. Well the fries were done and just sitting on the counter the burgers weren't even close to being done that they had to give us new fries. My husband had asked the girl working there if our food was ready since it was 45 minutes she said it's coming out soon. Finally when the burgers were ready they threw one of the burgers on the counter that all the guacamole was out of the burger and it was just was a complete mess. When he said he just throws my burger like that and showed the manager what a mess the burger looked in the container she just said sorry. We will never go back there again. While he was waiting another customer asked for a fork and she said we are out of forks when the guys wife ordered a salad. They also had no bacon. It seems like that place is going down the drain. We use to go all the time and with this new crew I wouldn't be surprised if this location looses business. Not that we were looking for anything but the lack of care for taking their time and just throwing our burger on the counter you would think they would offer something to make the situation better.. NEVER EVER GOING BACK WHICH IS SAD WE LIVE RIGHT AROUND THE BLOCK... they should have never got rid of the old crew this new...

Service stinks. Friday dinner rush, there was a constant line out the door, 1 guy on the register and 2 people running food to the patrons who order hardly seems like a great management decision. At one point the male cashier stopped taking orders, walked to get a drink, took that drink to the back for about 45 seconds, he returned up front. Everyone was ok with that but, he wasn't done with the delays, he proceed on helping with the patrons in the dining room who already ordered and have 2 people already serving them. What the heck! That went on for about 5 mins. How Unprofessional.

The time I was in before that, I ordered ahead of time but when I went to pick up, Noone helped me for a few mins until the manager came up to give me my order. Several people walked by, my order was ready and it was cold by the time I got it home. I live 7 mins away. Oh! And they screwed up all 3 of the burgers, badly. Plain burgers had everything on them.

And all the people in my line complained of similar issues.

Other locations on the island are good, this location clearly has a management and organization issue. I can understand a bad day once in a while but, 2 times in 2...

Have been to multiple other Smashburgers and they were always fantastic. When the opening weekend and everything was great but since then I have been twice and it was awful. The employees are fine, always nice and courteous so it's not there fault but there's never more then 1-2 of them and they seem to be having to rush back and forth between cleaning the dining room and being the only person to take orders.

There is always some sort of "managment" person why sits at a table in the lobby all the way far left from the entrance closest to the bathrooms. I don't know if they aren't provided an office or what it just seems that someone is always sitting there.

The real reason I will not be back to this Smashburger the food is awful now. The burgers and ingredients do not taste good, I gave this place a 2nd chance two weeks ago after waiting a few months figured maybe it was just growing pains but still same poor quality, which is so strange because in the other Smashburger I've been in, always great food.
