My husband and I have lived at The Harbour Club since 2022 and it was the best decision we ever made! The previous complex we lived in was just awful and we were looking for a beautiful and safe place that was convenient, well maintained and up to our standards of living and The Harbour Club was it! Beautiful view of the lake from our 2nd floor terrace, the bay is right behind us a ways with a view of all the boats and water….who wouldn’t want to see this everyday! Our experience with the leasing office was effortless! Francesca walked us through every stage of the process and she was nothing but patient, friendly and communicative throughout. I’ve read other older reviews of previous experiences and honestly, they make no sense to me because from day 1 we were made to feel welcome and appreciated because that’s the entire point of the leasing office staff is to listen and learn about you so they can find you the right fit so you’re happy! The entire team working tirelessly to make sure what should be an exciting and easy time keeps effortlessly flowing. These ladies have helped us with circumstances that have come up from the bad rains coming into our foyer and having the whole wall replaced immediately, to personal help moving furniture from the great maintenance team that are here who go literally ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure our homes are all running as they should be and kept beautiful. I work from home and I love being able to enjoy my space everyday knowing if the slightest things pops up all I have to do is email or call and help arrives. I can tell you from experience that I’ve never encountered anything negative in 4 years! We are so happy living here with no intention to leave and why would we? We get to enjoy the scenery, the animals and make this place home and our safety is always made priority. I’ll say it again, moving here was the best decision...

We lived at the Harbour Club for over 20 years. We moved here on Halloween day in 2003. Our daughter was 5. She is grown now - married and just started a family of her own. But she has very fond memories here. The complex is safe. She loved the pool. And the school system was very good. JFK Elementary is a great elementary school. Good neighborhood too. We stayed active in the community - WB firehouse, school board, PTA, etc. A lot of young families are moving in now- which is great to see. Not many families with children 20 years ago. Neighbors are great. There are always the one or two that you know to stay away from - cranky whiners - but that is anywhere. They usually don't stick around long. The staff are responsive for the most part. There are a lot of new maintenance folks and they all seem nice - competent too. They have rules - but that's what keeps the place going. And it's needed - even if not always popular - because you always have a handful that just take things to the extreme and ruin it for others giving management no other choice but to enforce existing rules and develop new ones. Follow the rules and use common sense - it's not a problem. The grounds are well maintained as well as the outside of the buildings. It's so pretty and peaceful to walk the grounds. Beautiful views but prone to flooding on the Great South Bay. I have lived here a little over a year. People warned me, don't be fooled by the beauty of the Harbour club and that the staff is just not worth it to deal with. I have to say I should have taken those suggestions seriously. It is like walking on eggshells living here. They make life very difficult for people. I have made some good friends here but the people who run the Harbour Club are cruel and unusual. They send out many emails about what is not allowed. They like to threaten people with lease violations for incidents as small as drying a pool towel on the terrace. Danielle who runs the office is not friendly. She comes off as rude and seems to have an agenda from the top. Most Harbour Club residents are in fear to speak up about incidents on the property or in their apartment in fear of getting a lease violation like their fallen neighbors. I will stay for 1 more year until my daughter graduates but I would recommend finding a more professional and less vindictive complex...
