In have to say this is a bitter sweet review. My husband and I had been renovating our home for some time now, and it is still a work in progress, when I needed a floor I went to the flooring department and was greeted by Kelley, what a fun person she is, my husband the jokester he is had crack jokes and play around, Kelley took very good care of us and sold us approx 900.00 worth of flooring. Since then we have had to go back to Home Depot to purchase a new refrigerator, I guess 22 years of my old one was tired and crapped out on us. We went straight to Kelley, because she did such a great job the first time. While in the process of purchasing our new appliance Kelley had a question, and asked another associate to come over to help her. Lavi came over to help her with the sale on the system as it was glitching. Lavi was not very nice at all, she spoke down to Kelley and embarrassed her in front of us. I actually got to the point where I said, OK that is enough I can get someone else to help us. Lavi walked away with ok go ahead attitude. Kelley figured out what needed to be done, and gave us a delivery date. Kelley also advised if there was anything wrong with the system to call right away she put her extension on sales receipt. So let jump forward to the day my refrigerator was delivered, the delivery people were terrific, the system was in, I checked it over, but noticed that there was no water going into the Ice tray. I called Copaigue Home Depot right away, I left a message for Kelley, within an hour I received a call back from Lavi, she asked me how can I help. I asked her where Kelley was as I left the message for her, she said she was going to pass you to me anyway. “How can I help you” again not very nice. I let her know what was happening, and she said it takes 24 hours for the ice to be made, I advised I understood that, but the system will not work if there no water going in it. She told me to hold, scheduled an appointment for service for 5 days after the delivery, and said it was the best she could do and asked if I want the appointment or not. I took it, my husband came home and the value downstairs wasn’t on, he turned it on and the water ran. We had to go back to Home Depot today because the filter that was on the system made the water Taste like chlorine, Even after i ran the water filter for 6 gallons of water. It still tasted like funny Kelley helped us again to get another filter. Ran 2 gallons of water and now it is terrific thanks Kelley for all your hard work. I do have to say the 5 stars are for Kelley not Lavi. There is no reason why any co-worker should treat any other co-worker like the way Lavi did. Weather a superior or not, you should never make anyone feel as it they are less than you. Better yet belittling in front of customers is a no-no, belittling at...
Read moreThis Home Depot is awful. I used to work here in 2018 and had several things stolen from me(food from the fridge). A lot of employees who work there would also vouch that the fridge is a free for all. They did nothing about it. People get their personal property from phone chargers and headphones stollen frequently and managers are nonchalant about it and tell you “tough luck”. The managers and supervisors I had were also quite awful, harassing, and unethical. About a year after I quit, I lost my Apple Watch here and the staff held it for days and claimed they didn’t have it, and were reluctant to search for it. I called multiple times for days, until I traced it to that store and they refused to tell me who had it. Later that year I came here to buy a plant pot, as I was walking to the customer service line, security came to me and accused me of stealing. I demanded to speak to a manager and have the cops called. The cops came and I left with no incident or charges. They had me sign a form I couldn’t focus on reading because I was so livid. Imagine working and shopping at a place that stole so much from you, then that same place had the audacity to baselessly accuse you of stealing. These people( managers and staff) are disgusting one of the worst and traumatizing places I’ve ever shopped and worked at.Don’t recommend working or shopping here. If you do work here, watch your property because it will be stolen and management will do...
Read moreWent there to buy a sliding door. The guy assigned to that area, not just covering, could barely answer our questions and the answers he did give were vague. The delivery process is really where things were terrible. The delivery was set and and established if we weren't home they would leave the door leaning against the house......day of delivery comes and the driver calls to say yes on his way which was nice, he pulls up in front of my house and several minutes later drives away when I called him he said the door wasn't on his truck and assumed would be delivered later in the day. We dont hear anything for TWO DAYS and we had to call them. After several hours of them not knowing where the door was we find out the delivery guy refused to deliver it solo due to size and weight. Home depot told us in order to ensure 2 ppl at delivery we had to wait another 2 days. Day of delivery comes again and delivery guys calls to say on way and ask if there is someone there to help him get the door off the truck...what?!!? He explained that there are never 2 ppl for deliveries.....so how exactly were they gonna leave it leaning against my house AND why did we have to wait another 2 days for delivery then??? Threw out whole thing home depot was not very helpful and not until the very end were they willing to compensate us in any way. It was extremely frustrating...
