Worse experience of my life! I’ve done russian and brazilian pedicures, but this place is hands down terrible. I made an appointment for 4, they called me to push back to 5. I got there at the time schedules and I wasn’t attended to until 6 something. I sit in the chair and everything is good, the place is beautiful. As soon as the girl gets started with my pedicure, it starts going bad. She cut me 4 times during my pedicure, i was bleeding and it looked like she used a stop bleed that wasn’t sanitized and touched on anyone who bled. I kept flinching and hissing my teeth because it was hurting so bad, and i’m extremely good with pain. I’m never one to complain but she kept noticing me wincing in pain and would just say “sorry” and continue digging in my nails. My toes were infected after my pedicure and now I have scars on my toenails. My toenail shape is different and I have a black dot like scar on both my big toes now. When she was drilling my nails to take the gel off she was doing it on such a high level I felt the hotness from the drill on my nail it was painful! Also, she never asked how short or the shape. Before i could even tell her, she cut my nail so much it was so short when I wanted to just keep the length and just file it square. I ended up with super short and round nails. I would never come back here and i’d never recommend anyone here. This is my first google review, i don’t write reviews but I had to warn others! Go at your own risk! I wouldn't even consider seeing anyone else for my nails besides Josephine. She's a true perfectionist and a consummate professional. As someone who's incredibly picky about my nails, I can honestly say that moving from Queens to Suffolk was a nail nightmare... until I found Josephine!

I would say this place is just ok. I went in for dip manicure and gel pedicure. Place does not have central AC so it is very hot and uncomfortable. Place is a bit dirty - reused paper towels, brushes don’t seem to be cleaned in barbicide, and the tools used on my hands definitely weren’t sterilized. Nail shape is just ok - not the worst manicure I ever had. Pedicure is where they are really lacking. They do not have proper pedicure chairs/bowl stations. It’s just a chair and sink. This kind of set up hurts your back after a while because there’s no support also the table where you put your foot moves so you can’t rest your foot on against it. Towards the end I was get so antsy because it was so hot and it was 3 hours and 15 minutes from start of appt to end. I don’t know why it took this long for just a single color and no design for short nails. I wouldn’t return just because I get my nails done every 3 weeks and I’m looking for a place that can not only do them well but also has a comfortable environment i.e. AC when it’s hot, comfortable chairs, time spent at the place.
