Escape the Room Game Long Island — Local services in Town of Brookhaven

Updating my Review again, after now doing over 60 escape rooms: This is still hands down, the BEST Escape Room company on Long Island! I have visited them all and done almost every room, each has to offer!

The BEST in escape game designs!!! I cannot give enough stars! This place is absolutely amazing! Go now and play! You won’t find better games, within an hour radius.

My husband and I are escape room enthusiasts and have completed 61 rooms to date. We love escape rooms so much, that we even started keeping a record of the rooms we’ve done, so that we can rank them. Currently, 7 of Escape Game LI’s rooms hold top spots in our overall top 10. Here’s why...

Intellect: Puzzles are well thought out and intellectually designed, challenging, but not impossible. The sequential nature of the puzzles make sense and flows well.

Emersion into the theme: Amazing aesthetics, mind blowing triggers that unlock new elements.

Clean: not just clean in the typical way, but “clean” of any unnecessary wires, chords, switches, fixtures, etc, that could confuse, or be in the way of, the players. These game designers are meticulous in their perfection of a “clean” room, and we appreciate it!!

Customer Service: Employees are friendly, attentive, helpful and made us feel comfortable. Also, employees made sure to guide us and walk through the rest of the game with us, in the one room that we didn’t quite complete, within the hour. It’s an awful feeling to pay good money, to play a room, not finish in the hour, and then be told that you have to leave, without being guided through the rest of the room. At Escape Game LI, I think they know that, because they are so kind about helping their guests see the room through to the end, so that guests leave feeling happy and not frustrated.

Great job to all who design and work at Escape Game LI! You guys are the best! We recommend you to friends all the time! We have completed all of your rooms, so we anxiously wait, with excitement, the opening of your next room! We will be there on opening day!

If I could give 0 stars I would. My group went out for our friends birthday and when we got to the Lake Ronkonkoma location the employee told us we were at the wrong location. We then said, but our confirmation says Lake Ronkonkoma and proceeded to tell us we read our confirmation receipt wrong, which then we pulled out our confirmation and said but it says Lake Ronkonkoma. He then took my sister in laws phone and shoved it in her face saying we read it wrong. So he tried to prove it to us, where he couldn't. Then the other employee even went over to the rest of us and said I'm sorry for my coworker's behavior. Then we said okay fine, is there another time we can go in at. And he proceeds to say I deal with 100s of people a day and we have no time for you. So then we asked for a refund. We had already paid and we weren't getting the service. He told us fine. Its done. He thought we were leaving and he said okay all done. We asked for an email confirmation and he then said, oh well then I need information from the card you used. So that told us he lied about giving us the refund. We finally got the refund but the employee needs to learn some customer service etiquette. He needs to be fired, because if I were his employer I wouldn't stand for that type...

Looks like a fun place but i would not know. Came here with some family for a fun night out and was greeted by rudeness and unprofessionalism. The teenager behind the counter was unbelievably rude and belittling. With terrible customer service skills he insisted on how "we did something wrong" when infact we did not and had proof as such. We tried to get another room scheduled or something so maybe we could make up for the lost time getting out there but they did not want to work with us. After trying to scam/cheat us out of a refund of over $ 200 we had to double and triple check they where not stealing money from us. How dare you firstly treat us like that and then decide to try to scam us. I wanted to truely enjoy a night out at this place and do something different, regretfully with untrained workers you see businesses fall short of exepectations. We did get a refund but it took alot of push to get it.
