Geek Squad — Local services in Town of Brookhaven

Actively unhelpful to the point of malicious and deceptive. I went in with my 3 year old desktop and after taking a quick look at it in the back, I was advised it was beyond repair (rather, it would be prohibitively expensive to try) and I should buy a new computer. I took it to another repair shop - after a week I got it back with much better service and advice (battery needed to be reset, needs inexpensive replacement eventually).

Get a second opinion if you trust their advice - they're looking to make sales first and...

If you make an appointment if faster to get help. Nice people working there, I was glad to be there and watch a team member being patient and helpful with an older couple.... The majority of repairs or updates takes 2 to 3 days. If you want an explanation of what they did to fix it you need to make an appointment to pick up but you can also read it on the paper they return to you... you can pick it up without an appointment if you don't want any explanation...
