Port Jefferson is an absolutely lovely, bustling town. The food it top notch with a variety of choices from a quick slice of pizza, to expensive, quality fare. It's got places with out door seating and one place with roof top seating. Theres lots of little shops, a beautiful view of the water, the ferry to Conneticut, a dog friendly park and beach, an ice skating rink and...

Sometimes, the office is open to wait, ask questions, grab a book, or use the restrooms. Trains are typically on time. Taxi cabs are always waiting for patrons when a train rolls into the station. The S61 and S62 busses pick-up down the sidewalk by the PJ sign.

Train leaves before it’s supposed to. Parking here is LITERALLY NON EXISTENT and the MTA cop I asked for help for another parking lot (I live in South Carolina so not familiar with area anymore) and he was a total a-hole. Would leave 0 stars if I could. Absolutely absurd that the train was leaving right as I was entering...
