I've been eating Thai food for over 35 years; I grew up hanging out with Thai friends and got to experience genuine Thai cooking....Sorry, this is NOT good Thai food...not that it matters too much (if the food is good, that is), but the decor of the place is nothing special, very "vanilla", kind of like a place that would serve cheap buffet food....the staff that we dealt with was pleasant....the dishes that we ordered that were "okay" yet not amazing by any stretch were the vegetable dumplings (it's hard to mess these up, one must admit) and the Pad Ki Mao (broad noodles with vegetables)...labeled as "spicy" but not spicy whatsoever...the taste of the Pad Ki Mao was mediocre, although much sweeter than this dish normally would be...it was "meh".....then we had the Papaya Salad....not good....it was chewy, flavorless, and had absolutely no "zip" to it, and zero spiciness, although again, advertised as spicy...it was the second worst Papaya Salad dish I have experienced....a waste of money....we also had the Fresh Vegetable Rolls, that were supposed to be covered in rice paper....the "wrap" part was overly thick, like, dough, and the filling was very reminiscent of cole slaw, which, last time I checked, was not Thai....then there was the Pad Thai, which again, is hard to mess up, but varies quite a bit from each Thai restaurant, nonetheless....it was really bad...two bites and I was done....the noodles looked and tasted like regular ol' linguine or spaghetti boxed noodles (that you would buy at grocery store), except they were more of a dark brown color, so they must have been in some sort of sauce, despite that, it was completely flavorless....again, supposed to be spicy, but not...the worst Pad Thai I have ever had from a Thai place.....we also ordered an additional dish, which the waiter wrote down but forgot to bring out, but by that point we we're like "forget it", and didn't even mention it to the waiter that it was missing...since all of the other things we ordered were either mediocre or awful, why take a chance with another dish that would most likely be the same, and get billed for it? No thanks....some people have written that the food at this place is "delicious", no offense, but they must be delusional, don't know what Thai food should taste like, or they have low standards....I mean, relative to hospital or airplane food, this place might be decent, but that's about it....granted, there might be a "good" dish here that we just happened to have not ordered, but based on the things we ordered, it is highly unlikely....everyone has heard about bad Chinese food, this is bad Thai food, among the three worst Thai places I've ever eaten at, all were equally terrible in their own ways....Thai Gourmet about one mile away from this place has infinitely better Thai food, and no, we don't work there....a review of that and other places in the...

My favorite place for take out! They are excellent at catering to whatever you like, whether it be substitutions of particular ingredients or spiciness level (you CAN get food that isn't spicy if you'd like). I, however, adore spicy foods, and they do truly deliver on both flavor and heat. They also do actually literally deliver as well, and travel quite far compared to most places around the area, so if you don't feel like leaving home just pick up the phone and see if they'll come to you. Prices are quite good for the portion sizes and the quality of food.

It's very difficult to say what the best things are here; as in my opinion Thai is a cuisine that is more so than others largely based on personal preference - my suggestion would be to try a few different items to find the flavors you love. I've never actually had a bad meal here, but I do like some items better than others (although once again personal choice here).

The things I order most: Pad See Ew (with beef), Mee Ga Ti, Pad Ruom Mit (comes with lots of veggies), plus Tom Kha Gai and Tom Yum Goong are very flavorful soups. The coconut rice is delicious and the brown rice is great too. Also don't forget dessert, it's incredibly tasty and not your typical...

This was the most disappointing take out experience I've had in a long time. This was my first time at this Thai spot. This was also my first time having bad Thai food.

I got a Drunken Noodle with extra chicken. First, there was minimal chicken in there, but some other Thai places are cheap with the chicken, so I didn't count this against them. HOWEVER, the chicken looked like it was boiled with no seasoning and had the consistency of looking like it was already chewed up and spit out.

This was also supposed to be extra spicy and it was barely a 2/5 heat (compared to how other Thai places rate their heat). The food also had this weird diet soda-like aftertaste, as if artificial sweeteners or some other type of chemical was used in it (not saying it was, but that's how it tasted).

Very disappointed, especially since I had high hopes for this place given their 4/5 star average. I don't know if the quality dropped significantly recently or if this was a...

I arrived right at opening when they were unlocking the door and turning on the lights as I had walked from the nearby LIRR station. The staff was very friendly. I had looked at the menu online and knew exactly what I wanted to try. I placed my order to go and it was ready in about 10-20 minutes. The entree was mediocre- coconut curry vegetarian dish- it was supposed to be spicy but was not. I didn't mind that either way, but was disappointed my the variety of vegetables and lack of spices/flavor. My favorite part of my meal was tbe dessert- mango with sticky rice. It was 😋 delicious. I later shared my leftovers with my family and they also agreed that the dessert was pleasantly delightful and yummy. I would return for dessert and I would MAYBE try another dish/entree again.

This place is kind of a hidden gem. Tucked away in the corner it's easy to miss. It took a bit to get service and it seems like a lot of the business is take out orders since the place was pretty empty for a Saturday night, but there were a lot of walk ins picking up food. The chicken veggie dumplings were close to the best I've had, not doughy like a lot of places. The chicken pad Thai was okay, not great. The wife got chicken teriyaki which didn't taste like teriyaki but was definitely the best dish of the night regardless. The prices were great and even though it took awhile for the server to come out she was still great and attentive. Would definitely come back again.

I ordered the Spicy Basil Chicken Lunch Special and was pretty disappointed. Pros: it's affordable $8.55 Cons: too sweet, the dish tastes more like Chinese food, if you look carefully at the chicken in the picture, it feels like they're feeding you chicken scraps (the pieces are so small that you can barely see them) My friend ordered the yellow curry and it was also really disappointing. The chicken had a very odd texture and she ended up throwing away most of the dish. Both of us will never return to this restaurant.
