UPDATE: went again today to order the salad i love from here. I was 90% finished with my salad when i noticed a living bug in it. See attached photo. I understand when you eat lettuce there's a small chance of finding a small bug BUT that's only if you haven't washed the greens. You must ALWAYS wash the lettuce. I'm disappointed and now feel nauseated. Yes i know, I'll live. But I'm grossed out.

SECOND UPDATE: Went again. I'm a sadist. I wanted to bring the bug in the salad thing to an employees attention and he did wash the lettuce this time. Went the next day for breakfast. Ordered a ham, egg and Swiss on toasted rye bread and it was missing the ham I ordered in it, wasn't cut in half and had a "finger hole" in it. So sloppy and unappetizing. I threw it out. Needless to say, I will not be going back to Blue Moon Deli again.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Just ate one of the most delicious and inexpensive salads in a LONG time! Ordering over the phone was easy as was picking up. They do deliver for $2 fee which is completely reasonable and cheaper than DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc.

Was so happy to receive a salad that had the perfect ratio of lettuce to toppings and chicken. Chicken had a nice seasoning. Only thing I was slightly disappointed about was that my coworker had ordered the same salad (Cranberry Walnut Gorgonzola salad with chicken) and his was made with mesclun/spring mix salad and mine came with romaine. I like romaine and didn't mind it but I was looking forward to the mesclun/spring mix. However, salad was still satisfying and yummy. I will definitely be back. Glad I work right around the corner at the new Patchogue Health Center....

So i hate writing bad reviews but it's time. The past 4 or 5 times i have gotten egg sandwiches from Blue Moon Deli the order has be screwed up every time . I try to see the bright side of things but today I'm done.. I order two egg sandwiches and pay for my food first like always. My order comes up they put it in the bag & then they tell me there out of sausage .. Both orders have sausage on them i said.. Sorry I'm out he said as he was making my coffee. Next customer comes in and ordered a egg sandwich with sausage and they don't say a word to him. The kid gave me my coffee and i told the other costumer the had no sausage . He said to the girl why didn't you tell me your out of sausage? She looked at him with a blank stair & said nothing to him. IS IT A BIG DEAL ''' NO '''. BUTT The kid did't even ask me if i wanted extra bacon ''OR'' even take the sausage off the price..The point is they should want return customers and you should get what you pay for. I hope the Owner reads this review Because i know him and i hope he tries to make his business better. I'm sure its hard to find good people to work hard and do the right thing . And to the kid in the black hat you should never bad mouth the Boss in front of customers when you never know...

Hey guys, are you looking for a terrible place to get bagels, coffee or sandwiches? If the answer is yes well you found the right place. The dumbass behind the counter is 4 years old and ignores you when you are clearly the first person in the deli and order an egg sandwich and it takes 30 minutes. Then his boyfriend backs him up and says its almost out its almost out. In all seriousness when we did complain the dude in the back threw a sausage on the grill. Keep in mind that was after we waited for thirty minutes. The first time we complained the kid behind the counter ignored us. We only ordered one egg sandwich...
