Ollie's Bargain Outlet — Local services in Town of Busti

I am a loyal Ollie's customer with 3 star rating. We are currently traveling and we shop at Ollie's in different cities and states without any issues of us carrying our daytime backpacks. We got disappointed with this branch because the staff, Alexander, approached us and told us that we can't shop inside the store with our backpacks because he said that some who shops with backpacks steal stuffs. Again, we shopped a lot of graphic novels at Ollie's branches in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Jersey, and New York while traveling these past few months without any issues carrying our bags. It got unpleasant for us being suspected that we will steal and we can't leave our bags inside the car because we're afraid that someone will break our car and steal our bags with valuables in it (our car doesn't have trunk). So what we did, we removed our expensive Mirrorless and DSLR cameras and some of our valuables out of our backpacks and gave our bags to the staff so we can continue shopping. After we shop, I realized that he put our bags not in a safe place because any customers exiting the shop can easily grab our bags at the exit. I don't know if this is a store policy at this branch only, because we've been to many stores. But my concern is at least make sure that they provide a safe place to leave the backpacks and a number tag to claim it, if they want us to leave our bags at the cashier. Rachel has horrible customer service and loves making excuses for her lazy coworkers. The managers would rather spend the day jamming to music in the back than doing the job they were paged to do 3 times. They also tried over charging me for an item and weren’t going to fix the price just do you want it still or not I was like I want it for the price it’s marked which she said she’d have to talk to someone about that when we’ve already waited 3 times for a manager to be paged that barber showed. Never sure what's going to be there! New and different stuff - different book titles seem to be available every few months - book prices very reasonable - wide variety of other items. Store seems somewhat disorganized, but it's worth the time to look. Some of the aisles are a bit narrow - note that there are rest rooms available for customers. Parking lot is available.
