Oh, my goodness gracious! I visited your store today for the first time. I can hardly wait to come back very soon. The RANA ITALIAN SAUSAGE RAVIOLI, along with the LAGANS CERRILLE MARINARA SAUCE, is out of this world!! Believe me, I plan to visit very soon! Thank you so much. Hats off to NANCY for suggesting the sauce!!

My wife lived in Syracuse and would rave about the meatball mix from here. I was sceptical, but she knows her stuff. I know this is a bold statement, but this has to be the best meatball mix on the planet. So worth the drive from Waterloo.

Another fine Solvay NY tradition Ascoti’s. How lucky the residents of Solvay and of Syracuse have been to have this Italian traditional meat market right here in the village. For years and years this market was located on Milton Avenue in Solvay. Not only do they have their world famous meatball mix but they still make their own sausages(mild, hot and garlic and basil). Their cuts of meats are definitely the finest around. In the tradition of the finest meat markets, Donze’s on the North side, and Indelicato’s in Auburn they continue to produce the finest meats anywhere. They also have such items as Utica tomato pies and Utica greens in their freezers. If you want a traditional Italian market, then Ascoti’s is your place. Hats off to Mrs. Quattrone and the rest of the...

Ordered two beef tenderloins for beef Wellington. “Trimmed and tied” my husband picked up the beef ,over $200 that’s fine. Actually a good price. Problem is the beef is tied but not fully trimmed. Silver skin running down to the end. When I said for beef Wellington any butcher knows what that means. You need to charge me more? Say it and I’ll pay it. Thea loins are tied down the full length. Useless until I fully trim them tie the thin end under. Called and was given a lecture about how MUCH he trimmed. I’ve never seen a beef Wellington 25 inches long. Lost my business before it started. So many ways to make this better. Lecturing me wasn’t one. Did I mention my father was a meat cutter for 49 years? I know what I’ll be doing...

Today was my first time visiting there, and I went to try the meatball mix that everyone’s been raving about. I bought a couple pounds of the mix to try, came home and fried some, and I have to say this is the BEST meatball mix I’ve ever had! My husband is 100% Italian and is very fussy about meatballs and he even said it was the best mix he’s ever had! We will be back again, and again, and again!!! (And a side note…the staff is super friendly...
