I live in NYC and this yarn store is heads and tails above the yarn stores I go to which are heavy on attitude and light on the practical advice. Just had my first encounter at the Warm Ewe with Lorraine the owner and WOW! This is one fabulous yarn store. The selection of yarn is extraordinary but what makes this place truly standout is the owner who hands out "salt of the earth" knitting advice. ...

Huge selection of yarn! She has it packed almost to the ceiling. Owner was very helpful in showing me what I asked for but she didn't follow me around which is nice. Sometimes you just want to really take your time picking out your yarn. Definitely worth a visit! I only wish I lived closer so I could shop...
