Depew Express — Local services in Town of Cheektowaga

I’ll admit, like many around here, I had high expectations as the closing of 7-11 was saddening. We worried “what would come next? Will they sell fresh coffee? Will they have slushee machines that our kids love? Or will it be some useless place filling up the space we all once cherished .. Then the time had finally come that someone rented the space and word was it’ll be a convenient store, well great we thought , won’t be our beloved 7-11 but at least it’ll be similar. Unfortunately for them only a few months after opening the doors COVID Struck! And bam all their hard work and dedication was being threatened by something out of their control . They made a choice though not long before to invest in our community and they didn’t jump ship when a tidal wave came right atop of them. They worked harder, they adapted and Obeyed by the ever changing health dept policies, the shut-downs, the shortage of supplies , the high demand.. The chaos!! They weathered the storm not only because they stood true to themselves and their goals but because of their appreciation for and love of our little community . They have far surpassed the high expectations we had, while we will always miss those 711 employees we can appreciate The Depew Express and applaud its efforts to remain open through this unpredictable world we all found...

I actually just left Depew Express and wanted to share my brief experience at the store. First off, it's kept up very well. I only needed a couple items but I definitely took note of the cleanliness of the floor, the aisles, and the orderliness of the items on the shelves. The gentleman behind the counter was very kind and helpful. We introduced ourselves to one another and I made sure to tell him that I would be back. Just a pleasant...

A side from the one guy that was rude to me awhile back the store is a great store I had a bad experience an I’m allowed to express my frustrations because that’s not right to treat a customer that way.
