A Theme Come True — Local services in Town of Chester

Great venue but they need to work on their time management. My birthday party started at 6pm. I arrived there about 45 minutes prior to start time with the food, and the venue wasn’t done setting up for my party yet!!! Insane. It was a birthday party, there was no cake table or any type of table for my cake or cupcakes. I had to request one in that very moment, minutes before my party started… they had to quickly assemble a table and throw a cover on it. I said NO FLORAL DESIGNS. The table cover was covered in floral. Boxes were everywhere in the bar section because they weren’t done setting up yet. My guests had begun to arrive and the venue was still setting up. So embarrassing because I wanted to make a grand entrance but I was there “helping” staff set up because I had to make sure everything I paid for was happening. The decor was beautiful but underwhelming, missing items I had requested during our plan meeting. Not to the mention all the money paid for open bar and we still had to provide ice and a cork screw because ice and cork screws aren’t included in the bar package lol. I’m just glad my guests had a good time. I’m just a bit disappointed in the venue with the lack of preparation. The owner also needs to speak to the servers about giving out so many unasked for drinks to the guests during the party- They kept coming up to us all throughout the party, serving us drinks, even before we were finished drinking the one we had in our hands, making us feel rushed and interrupted the whole night. Not everyone wants drinks back to back to back. I had to tell them to stop. Overall, it was a fun party, but I would not use this venue in the future due to their lack of readiness prior to the party and the amount of money paid for...

✨ A Dream Come True at A Theme Come True! ✨

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while now — my baby shower was in January, and my little one surprised us by arriving two weeks earlier than her February due date. Life has been a beautiful whirlwind since then, but I never forgot how happy I was with everything, and I wanted to take a moment to share just how incredible my experience was with A Theme Come True.

From the very beginning, Sanchia was a dream to work with. I came to her with my ideas, and she brought them to life in the most stunning way. The décor, the food, the service — every detail was thoughtful, elegant, and exactly what I had envisioned. Despite going through a rough pregnancy, I felt completely at ease thanks to Sanchia and her team. They were so kind, understanding, and accommodating, and they truly made the planning process stress-free and joyful.

The shower was everything I hoped it would be and more. My guests still talk about how beautiful and seamless everything was, and I’m still in awe of how effortless Sanchia made it all feel. She really made my dream baby shower come true, and for that, I’m forever grateful.

Without a doubt, I’ll be working with her again for all of my future events. She has a gift, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to bring my visions to life the way she does. Thank you again, Sanchia — you are truly amazing! 💜

Undoubtedly 5 stars! We hosted a combined 1st and 10th birthday party for our kids here and all of our expectations were exceeded. From decor, to activities for the kids, to food, everything was perfect, and required no work or planning from us which was so nice. More details below:

Decor: We sent Sanchia literally one picture of the "winter wonderland" theme we liked and she turned it into a real life dream - it was breathtaking. Same for the birthday cake, just sent a couple of photos and the one for the party topped them all. Activities: Even though there were some activities included in the package we purchased, we weren't sure if they would occupy the kids for the entire time. Well, they had constant activities for the kids and they had such a great time. From musical chairs, to limbo, to hot potato - everyone was so engaged. Food: we got the food catering and service add-on, and it was well worth it. Everyone raved about the food and the food attendant was so kind and helpful. Not having to worry about bringing food/drinks saved us so much work and stress.

We got endless compliments from parents and guests about the party and venue -- those compliments are all due to the fantastic work of A Theme Come True. We would definitely recommend and use this party venue again...
