Sunhing — Restaurant in Town of Chester

This is a beware to others because we have been getting take out from Sunhing for years and this last order has made me feel the need to post a review. We have found that Sunhing has gradually gotten worse. Times before, we had a 2 liter bottle of soda that had been opened and had no carbonation; spare ribs are usually overcooked; super oily egg rolls and sweet and sour chicken, etc. But, they are local and convenient and we kept trying them. Last night: there was a large bug in the white rice. I called to tell them. The lomein was gross, overcooked, tasteless. The spare ribs were old and half of it was discolored, it also tasted funky. The fried chicken wings were OK. The steamed dumplings tasted strange. Their price was high for the amount of food and I truly felt it was just...

So I've seen some terrible reviews and I just don't get it. They are super polite (including the children) and the place is clean. They offer a whole menu on sushi too! I don't order the same thing since I really love Americanized Asian food but I really dig their sushi options. I started to order the sushi burritos and I'm so happy with it. Try it all! Chicken wings, spring rolls (loooove), combination platters.. I'm saying though... I really love sun hing. Go for it. You won't be disappointed. Also, if the language barrier bothers you then you're at the wrong place. Order, smile, say thank you, pay and say bye. That's it. That is professional from them and appreciation from you. Also remember this is chinese/japanese. You don't find Asian restaurants like...

First and only time ordering food from here. My husband and I ordered General Tsos chicken, some chefs special beef, white rice, eggdrop soup, crab rangoons, and an eggroll. The restaurant forgot our eggroll and after a couple bites of the beef and chicken, our stomachs started to turn. The meat tasted really old and the food tasted almost sour. As my husband puked his guts out, i went back to the restaurant to try and return the food for a refund. I showed them the bag of unfinished food and explained that we couldnt finish because it didnt taste right and it made us sick but no refund was issued.
