We have been Russell Cellular and Verizon Customers for many years, since the days they were at the Goshen Plaza. We have purchased multiple phones and plans over the last 10+ years.
The SIM card in my phone stopped working. I first attempted to go to the store but the wait over the weekend was HOURS.
I attempted to get a new SIM card in the mail from Verizon, but they would turn OFF my phone service for two days while I wait for one to show up.
I went to Verizon Online and made an appointment with Russell that was confirmed via text because I WAS TOLD by the store to make an appointment online. I made an appointment for 7pm and when I showed up at 6:55, the gentleman came to the door and said "we are closed." He said Google Hours don't match the store hours and I attempted to tell him that VERIZON ONLINE made this appointment because I was told by the STORE to do that.
I explained that like Russell, we are a local business and run our business through our phones. We are a farm and summer is the only time for us to make it. I told the gentleman all I need is a SIM card and I have been trying for a week. He refused, we exchanged words and our local business WILL NEVER have anything good to say about Verizon or Russell Cellular until I can actually speak with a Live human being without putting my entire life on hold to do so. Read moreThis store just sold my buddy an iPhone 14 pro plus little did they know the person they sold the phone too was friends with a lot of russell cellular employees ( I myself am aswell a Russell cellular employee ) after speaking with the customer and multiple other cop workers we decided that service received here was apauling my friend was charged a 35$ “ set up for success fee “ but was not set up they didn’t transfer his stuff granted the phone was very damaged but they told him to pretty much do it himself so I’m disgusted and if anyone reads this please AVOID THE CHESTER STORE THEY DONT CARE OBVIOUSLY! Other store like Warwick or Monroe care and do a much better job! (p.s. Read moreThis was my goto store when it opened, but now recently has gotten some new employees. I had ran my phone over and went in to get a new 1, most recent phone that was on the market, and the manager told me it was the convoy 3, which i bought. Then went into get a belt clip, which i was told to go on ebay to buy.. which i did, but brings me to this.. the convoy 3 was put into production in 2013, the newer 1 is the convoy 4 which i ordered my clip for, which led me to search my phone, which led me to calling verizon direct, in which they told me all info i am typing now. I ran over a kyrocera which was told by the manager at rhe chester, ny store they didnt make anymore that the convoy3 was the newest.. FALSE ! Surprisingly verizon sent me the newest kyrocera on the Market which i am very happy with.. as for this store.. I will NEVER go to again.....
