Avoid this horrible horrible horrible store like your life depends on it. My iphone 7 was broken (factory defect) so I went to the store. I was told I would have to wait 2 hours. Fine. I come back when they texted and I waited another hour for someone to finally talk to me. From than on the young man who helped was nice, but incredibly unprofessional. My phone took forever to backup, and failed multiple times. Everytime it failed I had to wait 20 minutes for this guy to finally come back to me. I finally received my replacement phone after a few hours, and was told to sign the young mans ipad on the dotted line, so I did. I looked at the phone when I got home, and it was BENT. The iPhone replacement I was given was literally bent. After leaving my house at 2pm, driving 45 minutes to the store, I got back home at 9:15 pm. Waste of a day. But wait, it gets much worse.
I went back to the store today to pick up my repaired phone and waited 20 minutes again. A young man wearing no socks and slides comes to help me, and he obviously did not want to be at work. I showed him the phone that I had gotten was bent, and because of the severe bend in the phone the screen was beginning to crack right on the bend. I was than told that in order to have my phone back I would now need to pay $300 plus tax. WHAT? I was given a broken a phone and expected to pay for the damages. The screen was OBVIOUSLY cracking as a result of the bend, the money hogs at apple could care less. I asked the young man if I went and replaced the glass somewhere else could I just give him the phone than? He said "no the phone is bent". On top of now having to pay $325 in order just to get my actual phone back, the apple "genius" who gave me the loaner phone also never mentioned my very expensive screen protector would not be on the phone when I got it back. The "geniuses" at this store would not replace my screen protector, even though I was NEVER told this, it was in the multi-page agreement I signed when I got the loaner phone. So I guess the days of not reading apples terms and agreements are long, long gone, because if you don't you're gonna lose a ton of money. Horrible, Horrible, horrible experience everytime I have entered this store. This store in general has me convined that my next phone will be a Samsung, and I guarantee if my macbook ever breaks I will not even blink an eye and travel an extra 45 minutes to go to a different location. I would rather go to a restaurant and order food that has human feces in it than even enter this store again. Only help I've received was from Carlton, a senior iOS Senior Advisor who I spoke with on the phone and is sending me a new screen protector. And Carlton called the apple store in Nanuet asking them to send me a new screen protector, and those mother f** decided that they didn't want to. Apple store in Nanuet is more like walking into a circus than an apple store, bunch of clowns...

I just found out that they are refusing to repair a swollen battery in my laptop, claiming that a repair Apple did years ago used the wrong parts with mismatching serial numbers, so they don’t want to touch it. They told me they had taken it apart, but then they put in back together.
They have no records of the previous repair parts used. And they are refusing responsibility for the previous repairs. Unbelievable lack of accountability!
When I went to pick up my un-repaired computer, it was a complete mess… I take extremely good care of my computer. But, now, the screen and lid had a lot of new scratches and marks all over it that were not there before, among other problems.
They would not answer me when I asked why the date and time was set wrong, my work was lost, and if any other data was lost. Etc. Etc.
I asked for my paperwork / records. They then had me wait a long time as they told me they were creating “a resolution,” but, finally, they just came back out with nothing but a couple of printouts of the original “Apple-declined” work order (which by the way had the wrong price on it).
To add insult to injury, at least 3 of the employees then proceeded to form a circle surrounding me up against the genius “bar”, in an accusatory manner, asking for my photo ID before they would ALLOW ME TO LEAVE THE STORE. Obviously, I felt threatened, trapped, and intimidated by this. I showed my ID, took my things, and made my way through the employees and left.
If this all sounds too unbelievable… it’s all been recorded.
Wow. When a business has to resort to thuggery to deal with the public, you know something is majorly wrong.
I have also now noticed the the speakers now rattle loudly whereas they hadn’t before. Not surprising, as I witnessed Apple reps banging on, scratching, and throwing/dropping equipment in the store. Yes, really! These problems with Apple just seem to get worse and worse.
I have already filed a formal complaint with Apple. I have also filed complaints with the BBB, FTC & FCC (in Washington DC), Consumer Affairs, state Attorney...

At a 5 hour wait in which i was made to feel like an imbecile because i was repeatedly accused of pouring water in it. after 2 hrs of diagnoses in which they came to the conclusion that it was not my error but, in fact according to them a legit problem with there phone they proceeded to repair the iPhone for 3 more hours and return it without my contacts,pictures ,music which i hadn't backed up but could no longer wait to have the phone returned so i did it anyway. ONLY TO FIND ONE MONTH LATER THAT THE SAME EAR PIECE IS HAS NO SOUND AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! IT IS THE ONLY PHONE I USE ,MOREOVER; IM FINDING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ANY HELP AT ALL FROM APPLE!!!!! THERE ARE NO AVAILABLE APPOINTMENTS FOR WEEK!........ I FEEL HELPLESS !!!!! I have been purchasing Apple products for 30 years starting with my 1st 2E model and have slowly watched Apple become solely focused on making more and more money.
