** please scroll all the way down to see the addition I made to this post Absolutely outstanding, anyone who knows me knows I am very picky. I very much rather cook then actually go anywhere for a full meal. We happened to stumble onto this restaurant, our original plans for the evening were canceled so I just happened to look up a few places to see what was nearby. I tend not to read reviews but I look at menus. Upon reviewing the menu I noticed that there were a variety of dishes that I would personally pair the very same. Everything was completely on point from the friendly hostess to our waitress Doris. They were both very friendly and personable. Doris tended to our every need l, she paid attention to every detail, and catered to every request. We ordered the chicken franchase, the spaghetti and meatballs and a Cesar salad. The tarimusu was amazing as well. The drinks were soft and not overbearing. The uniformity of the wait staff was neat and very sharp. The bathrooms were very tidy and there is high attention paid to every single detail. We will definitely be going back at some point and bringing friends. Was completely worth the trip and will definitely recommend to others. Even the changing table in the bathroom was great not your usual hard plastic standard glued to the wall kind of thing. There’s not enough kind words for this charming restaurant. Prices were moderate and fair for the quality of food/ service given. They even have a kids menu, super cute fun choices. Dress attire for the evening I’d recommend bussiness casual.
** nobody survives what I call the sophomore curse you know when you love a place you rave about it. It’s phenomenal. It’s fantastic. It’s amazing and then the second time you go it’s not as great!!! Wow this place defied the odds and the second time was just better then the first! So, we went back and we had a business dinner. Of course I requested our waitress from the last time Doris. It was amazing, our bussiness associates who have rapidly become family enjoyed themselves to the fullest!!! Doris was on point. I requested her section. My guest arrived and received the very best treatment and everything was wonderful. The food was absolutely exquisite Doris, our waitress was amazing and phenomenal. Every thing on the menu is mouthwatering delicious, comes out hot fresh, and made when ordered. What I also liked about this place, and I didn’t put it in the last time is that this place is so versatile. There is space to push a baby stroller. If you wanna bring your baby there is wheelchair space so it’s special needs friendly. There is a versatility to the menu which I think I’ve already mentioned where you can get a fancy pasta dish, a beautiful steak and even a pizza for the kids. It’s amazing hands-down the very best place that I have been to in such a long time, this place is wonderful for all occasions whether you’re just going out for a bite to eat for yourself and you’d like to sit at the bar or for a family etc. The drinks are fabulous not overpowering they mix just right they even have the ability to make fun mocktails. You can literally do it all here dinner for one, dinner with the family. Anything is possible here! I highly recommend this location for any and everything bussiness or personal a night out with the family even special occasions can be held here! They even take special measures for allergy considerations!! Thank you so much, Doris we truly appreciate you and you did an amazing job. Everyone takes extra care to take extra care of one another. The staff is super professional, polite and friendly! When you enter the doors you instantly become apart of the family and they make you feel like you are home. There’s literally no need to go anywhere else, we will be coming back again and bringing more of our friends and family along. One of the most amazing little gems, so happy that we found this place the experiences and memories you are able to make here are truly unforgettable, when you leave you leave with a feeling of joy and...
Read moreI had been going to Banchettos for a while and have been recommending to everyone. I really enjoyed this place at first. I decided to write review on how terrible my last experience had been and now I am not surprised after reading the other reviews. First problem was the 45 minute wait for my food. During my wait, the waiter never came back to the table to check in or even offer more drinks. This was on a monday night mind you. During my 45 minute waiting period, I watched as every table left and watched all the new people coming in sit down. I even watched some of the newer tables eat their dinner and leave before we even got our food. I had been slightly entertained during that 45 mintues by watching a waiter in the kitchen practicing his karate high kicks to the head area of one of the food prep workers while he was preparing the food. Probably why he was distracted and forgot my order! Lots of goofing around in the kitchen with the door open. We had to track down our waiter to ask about our food and he said "oh, let me check." The food came out int e next few minutes with a quick "sorry about that" half apology. I had ordered the Sea Bass francese and my side of mashed potatoes arrived several minutes prior to my entree. When the Sea Bass arrived, it was not fully cooked. cool on the inside, crispy (not in a good way) outer layer, and tough/rubbery. I sent it back with no replacement. The other order was chicken scarpariello with hot peppers. This order came out hot at least but had bell peppers instead of hot peppers. We told the waiter about the wrong peppers and he said "yeah I saw that when I was bringing it out." Well, do you think he would have said something or corrected it before just handing over the wrong order. Very disappointed!!!! Disappointed with the food! Disappointed with the waiter and service! Disappointed with the lack of concern the "manager" had with my experience. They did take the Sea Bass francese off the order which I did not eat anyway and took a drink off the bill for the "inconvenience." After paying my bill, I asked to speak to the owner Eddie and they said that he was not there. Maybe that was the problem!!! Every other time I have been there, the owner was there and looked like he was busting his but helping everyone. I need to take a long break from this place to see if they read the reviews and make some...
Read moreOverall, what a great time at Banchetto Feast for the occasion. Our family dined in for my soon to be father-in-law’s birthday.
Service was great, was seated in a reasonable time. It was not overly crowded when entering but it got noticeably busier and louder into the night.
I’d definitely would make a reservation prior to dining. The menu has a large selection, where there is almost too much to select from.
As far as the food, I’m not going to say that everything was perfect, but I would come back, as a lot of the dishes ordered were enjoyable and tasty. We had ordered a variety of dishes, some better cooked and prepared than others. I must say if I go back, I will be returning for the “Zuppa Di Clams Banchetto,” and would try pasta instead of steak.
My impression of the appetizers and meals ordered:
Clams are a MUST for appetizers!
Meatballs were meatballs, if you know what I mean. Nothing special here but they aren’t bad.
burrata caprese was good (just not my favorite burrata dish)
Short Ribs were so tender and flavorful. I’d order it again.
Banchetto Land and Sea (nice portions, lobster tails were amazing)
NY Strip Steak and filet minion… (I wanted it to be great, but it was just ok.)
Here’s my thing with the steaks that were... 2 persons with our party asked for the 16oz Prime NY Strip Steak, both medium, and one was more rare while the other more medium-well to well done). Both steaks looked similar in size and thickness, but both lacked detail in its preparation as neither was really medium.)
filet minion and it wasn’t that great either. Not sure if I am bias or just disappointed in my selection of the NY Strip Steak that harbored this feeling but again, the steaks were not my favorite dishes here, given I wanted a perfect or near perfect steak going in.
I went into wanting a steak then left the establishment wish I ordered a pasta dish (and more clams).
Banchetto Feast, I...
