It's a Dick's, they have stuff. I am off season, I'm looking for a sleeping bag. I'm also looking for a decent jacket system. I figured this would be the time of year to find one, nope, too late, what they have is what they have, but they MIGHT get another shipment, but it's all the same as what they have, rain coat shells and sweatshirt style jackets, ONE style/type of jacket system, only one color, just different sizes, and only a handful of sizes of the ONE jacket system jacket, and it goes for ALL adult sized jackets. I thought I would look at EVERY jacket in stock, the second and 3rd time after I had confirmed their selection, I truly was going to go without, but I bought the 1 jacket system they had, because I need a jacket that works for me, and the last 2 jacket systems I owned were stolen, and this is THE LAST jacket system I plan on buying for the next 20 years, given the price, it BETTER out live me. I did get my questions about sleeping bags and mats answered, as well as learning what 'tools' I would benefit from MORE versus what I was looking for. He didn't try to sell me what I didn't need, he listened to what I was doing and offered his personal experience and shared with me the items I 'need', not a cost effective talk, essential tool talk, and alternative ideas for my personal set up, it was very much informative and I appreciated him taking the time with me, even though he was busy, he spent a good half hour 'teaching' and then I went to the jacket racks for a second and third perusal. I had come here looking for a simple space heater as well, but they don't carry much, nothing was suitable for what I'm doing, but I'm still happy for...
Read moreWednesday night at 7 o’clock at the Liverpool store Brought to the front desk a yeti cooler cost 325 When I got to the checkout to attend these at the front desk, one light on one light off Went to the first light and said if your light was on, you would’ve gotten the sale so I went to the second register The attendee behind the counter looks across into our cart and said he cannot see the school number. He never moved from his place behind the counter. Had my wife take the cooler turn it pick it up, put it on the counter so that he could cash it out. My wife is 70 years old. He’s in his 20s. He was too lazy to come around and give us some service. After we checked out, he never offered to put it back in the cart so we had to put it in the cart. I’m 79 and we left.
Little things like this keep me from coming back yet can be purchased anywhere, but I selected dicks and a price would be the same Maybe it’s time for management to teach their help what would be beneficial for a successful sale?...
Read moreI bought a peloton bike, not realizing it was 50 dollars a month to use. So completely untouched, I decided to return it after holding onto it for 1 week. I had the receipt and the store manager in Liverpool, who was extremely rude and in a bad mood, said he would not process the return because he said “they don’t take any returns on sporting equipment.” Nowhere on the receipt states that. And after that rebuttal, he said it was final sale. Again, nowhere on the receipt states that. Then he proceeds to tell me there’s nothing he can do and there’s nobody above him I could speak with. He gave me a phony corporate number to call to make me leave the store. 30 minutes later, I returned it at the Dicks location in East Syracuse. No issues. No questions asked. Just a standard return. The store manager in Liverpool just refused to help me with no reasonable explanation. I will not shop at this...
