Went in with my daughter who wanted to look at the artificial nails. Immediately upon entering, the lady followed us around the store and pointed to where there were more nails once my daughter lost interest in the ones she was looking at. We walked over to them and when my daughter turned the carousel to view all the nails, which was wobbly and loose, one of the nail sets slid off onto the counter, and the top of the plastic container that housed the nails popped off. The lady turned to my teenager and said “so you’ll take these?” I said “excuse me, we will not be taking those just because the lid popped off” the lady then told me that I had to buy them. To which I replied that I would not be buying them simply because they slid off a broken carousel and the lid popped off. She said that it was out of her control and I had to buy them so I told her that this was not how that worked. And her broken carousel was out of my control and we’d be leaving now. She expected us to pay for something that wasn’t damaged, so I’m guessing this was a scam attempt to try and sell some of these nails, since the worker was the one who told my daughter where she had more nail sets even though she wasn’t asked. From the moment my aunt, uncle, cousin and I walked into the store, the lady followed us, close enough to be mistaken as part of our group. At first I thought maybe she was stocking or cleaning but it soon became quite clear she was following us and watching us. My uncle and I both had our jackets over our arms and I had a small bag from another store. We were not being suspicious, acting rowdy or causing a ruckus which would have caused her to do so. My uncle and I were talking about a few items we saw that we were thinking of purchasing when I saw a small picture frame with a Saint Bernard which I handed to my uncle to show my aunt. He handed it to her which the lady then reached around my cousin and tried to take it from my aunt, asking her if she wanted to buy it. Immediately after, we walked out of the store. She definitely lost them business from us and we were pretty excited about how decent the prices were and the variety of product. Never have we ever been treated like...
