Settle in for a long one, although the other previous 5-star ratings speak for themselves, I must add.

Chris and his staff went utterly above and beyond for my wedding. Not only at the wedding itself but from the moment I inquired about him almost two years ago.

During that long process, he always knew who I was, knew exactly when my wedding was and what we had talked about, and never forgot any detail at all.

When I told him I wanted to make a slideshow for my mother and grandfather instead of a dance he said, "you've got a lot on your plate, would you like for me to make it instead?" OF COURSE I jumped all over it - all I had to do was give him the song and it was absolutely perfect and all three of us - my mother, grandfather, and myself were crying on the dance floor watching it.

I changed first dance songs on him last minute - no problem. Needed our new song cut down and processional edited - he was on it! Then sent them to me on the agreed upon date to listen and review and, they were exactly what I had asked him to do! In fact, I wanted a fade out instead of a cut off and he was on it and on the day of we got our perfect fade out!

He was perfect and spot on with our music tastes - an eclectic, strange range - playing disney instrumental before the ceremony, bluegrass and blues, elvis and michael buble and then almost entirely Rupaul for our reception (at least from what I remember!) there was enough for everyone!

He was incredible at reading the crowd, spoke when necessary, and mostly just hung in the background making sure people stayed engaged and present.

The highlight, BY FAR, is his use of TVs. He had taken footage of us leaving our ceremony, posing for pictures alone and with our party, and a little during our first dance which was so essential for me to have some concrete memories of the day. It all goes by so quickly, and I had a bit of wedding amnesia, and his video and pictures were essential to commit the day to memory. But OF COURSE we got all the raw footage he took in a Dropbox for us to review and use as we'd like.

His staff were friendly, professional, Tori was just the right amount of professional and fun - I dare say she upstaged me at my own wedding with her sweet, sweet dance moves and I loved every second of it!

We recently had the absolute pleasure of having Chris Washburn and his team as our DJ for our wedding, and we cannot recommend them highly enough! From the initial consultation to the last dance, every detail was handled with professionalism, creativity, and care.

One of the first things that stood out to us was how much effort Chris put into understanding our musical tastes. He created a customized playlist that perfectly matched our vibe, incorporating all of our favorite songs and even some special requests from our guests. It was clear they really listened to what we wanted and curated the perfect soundtrack for our big day.

The flow of the evening was flawless. From the ceremony to cocktail hour, dinner, and the dance floor, the music transitioned effortlessly, setting the perfect mood at every stage. We especially loved how Chris seamlessly mixed different genres, keeping everyone entertained, from our youngest guests to the older crowd.

What really made Chris, and his team stand out were the thoughtful, extras. They surprised our guests by incorporating pictures and videos that were very personal. They incorporated fun, interactive moments that got our guests involved, like live photos from the day of our event.

Throughout the planning process, Chris was incredibly responsive, easy to communicate with, and always open to our ideas. On the day of the wedding, they arrived early to set up, and everything was handled smoothly and professionally. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. When Chris tells you he is the quarterback of your event he not messing around.

The energy that Chris brought to our reception was contagious! The dance floor was packed all night, and we received countless compliments from our guests about how much fun they had. The lighting effects and sound quality were top-notch, creating a festive and celebratory atmosphere that we will never forget. Our guests also loved the 360-photo booth. Your guests are missing out if you don't include this.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said a million times before? From second 1, the entire team at WE committed themselves to the success of our wedding and the happiness of myself and my husband. Like many, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to postpone our day 3 months prior in the heart of the pandemic. Chris was beyond understanding and accommodating, offered to either refund us or reschedule - and if he did not have a DJ available for our new date he offered to refund us anyway.

This is when the real magic happened. Chris himself was not available for our new date (huge bummer at the time), but Tori Vee was. She came highly recommended of course, and knowing she was part of the WE team we knew we were in good hands. How great those spinnin’ hands were, we had no idea.

Tori basically helped us plan our reception to the minute. Without her, I would have been epically lost with a timeline. She came with ideas galore and the positivity we needed to make our rescheduled wedding happen. She is more than just a DJ - she is a friend. Tori was there when I hit roadblocks, leant an ear when I needed to vent, offered help with things that weren’t even entertainment related…she was exactly the person we needed to breathe easier on our big day.

It didn’t stop with the planning. The week before, Tori answered every panicked text - even the one I sent her the morning of the wedding about how I really did need a music stand for my officiant and how stupid I was to think we didn’t need it (no surprise that she’d packed one knowing I’d have this realization). Tori made sure we were relaxing, offered to grab us drinks from the bar, and without a doubt became part of our family that night, pictures to prove it!

If you’re looking for the all-in entertainment package, WE is who you need to call. Any of the team members that are part of this group are nothing short of amazing. However, if you have the chance to request Tori…do it. Do it in a heart beat. She will go above and beyond every expectation, I can guarantee you that!
