So, this is above and beyond the call of service, and I truly appreciate it. We have shopped at Pine Ridge in Dryden since they opened, and have always found their products to be top notch, especially their bulk meat sales, and their people to be warm and friendly and genuinely seem to enjoy what they do. Today, I called because we had a bunch of people get together at lunch for tacos. I purchased the taco seasoning from Pine Ridge and made the meat for the lunch, but forgot that one of us has severe food allergies and wasn't sure she could eat with us. Since I had already discarded the package from the taco seasoning, I could not be sure of the ingredients. I called the store and the person who answered the phone (she didn't mention her name) happily went to the shelf, got the seasoning and read us the ingredients off the package. She went above and beyond to help us out and did it with a smile....
Read moreOMG what a gem! The vegetables looked great, bought several (looked better then local grocery stores.) the meat is John Martin brand and looked super fresh. It looks like they know what their customers want and don't stock more then they can sell. Bought a lb. of honey ham and it was the best I have ever had from a deli -hands down! (I'm retired, travel alot and use different grocery stores all over the eastern US). The place was very clean and organized. They have lots of bulk items in large/small containers and handmade gifts that are useful (wooden clothes racks, beautiful bird houses and great smelling candles. Lots of their food and other items are Armish so excellent quality. I hope they stay open and the community supports them. Dryden u are lucky to have such a wonderful place to shop! I'll be back on my next trip...
Read moreAm I slow? I've been traveling to Bainbridge from my home in Groton, always taking the back way and never passing through the town of Dryden. Meanwhile, I've always stopped at the location in Bainbridge up until this past week, when I realized this other location existed! I was thrilled to see Mr. Sub arrive from Watertown because the area could really benefit from a decent sub shop other than Subway. But honestly, I feel bad because I'll choose Pine Ridge Grocery every time! Great to see...
