This guy was highly recommended and we were VERY disappointed. I only wish we had received the same results I’ve seen his other customers have received. We brought our truck in to be fixed after having someone work on our car that claimed to know what they were doing yet instead of fixing our audio problem, they made it much worse ! So Al came as a huge recommendation to help us fix our birds nest wiring of a problem. We had asked and been quoted on getting our audio system fixed, a new speaker in the back that would allow my third row seats to be used , our back up camera to work and the tv in the back for our kids to be fixed as well. All things in which we were told could be done . When asked how long the job should take I joked “oh a couple weeks and the gentleman said oh noo a day or two. I said wow for this big job ? Great ! We left our car with him expecting to come back to everything we asked for . We live about 30 mins away . Long story short, Al kept our car for 20 DAYS ! The communication is TERRIBLE , that was the first red flag .We Had to call/text and reach out to him multiple times to get any kind of update on the car . It would take him days to reply back or or not at all until I had tried reaching him through his Facebook account since he wouldn’t answer the phone to my husband or myself . My husband is a mechanic and even if the job isn’t done he makes sure to get back to his customers with updates small or big . After almost 2 and half weeks Al lets us know WE needed to order a part for the car that was needed to complete the job …why not just order it and add it to our bill ? Why did we have to find this product order it and also DROP IT OFF to him ?! And why are you telling us about this part so late after we have been calling about the car multiple times !? After it had reached 20 days my husband was fed up and got through to Al to let him know we NEED the car back by FRIDAY because we were going on a road trip. Which we had to rent a car for because Al assured us the job would be done by then and it wasn’t After receiving a text to come around a certain time to come pick the car up my husband and I packed my small crv up with the kids to just go get our car because he should been done . Just to get to Al’s shop and be told he still needs 40 mins to finish 😒 . So we went to a local fast food place to kill the time for our kids sake . To return to the shop to the job still not done . The crazy wiring was cleaned up yes but the bulky speaker in the truck was still obstructing the back row , and one of the seats was still removed from the floor . there were exposed wires on the new placement of the amp thingy on the floor ….which we had specifically been told were a fire hazard by Al himself !Then when my husband tried Bluetoothing the phone (which was also previously discussed with Al) it took an additional almost hour for him and my husband to try to figure out why we couldn’t hear eachother through the bluetooth !? And ALSO TO FIND OUT THAT THE BACK UP CAMERA STILL DID NOT WORK AND THE TV STILL DIDNT GET FIXED WAS NUTS ! so basically a WASTE OF TIME !! Wtf was he doing all those days he had our car !? Then had the audacity to tell us he had to up the charge because this job was a lot of work ?!?! Where was the work done because from $350 to $500 is a big jump TO STILL NOT HAVE A MAJORITY OF EVERYTHING WE ASKED FOR NOT BE DONE ! So given we paid 400 and has asked for the rest to be finished at a later time but that we can’t leave our car there for not another day since he is inconsistent on when it would be done . To let us know when he can get it done . (Still no call to this day) This was the most ridiculous experience we’ve had and I felt so bad for even recommending this guys business to my husband !. So we went home and ended up having to take everything apart that Al did and re do it ourselves . My husband finally got the back up camera, audio, Bluetooth, new smaller speaker to ALL WORK with room for my 3rd row! And moved the amps to under the chairs! Not at feet of kids ....
Read moreI contacted Al's Audio back on 3/19/25 for a brake service and was quoted 200$ for the parts and was told labor was on the house. Which I paid to Albert himself immediately via Apple Pay. I thought to myself "what a steal!"...Little did I know what was to come.... for 3 weeks now I have been contacting the owner and operator of the business, Albert. Trying to find out a good time within the both of our schedules to come in for my brakes to be serviced. I have been reaching out with minimal communication or response. There were 2 noted times we agreed I would bring my car in. On the day of when I called Al to confirm he was at the shop, he stated "You just woke me up". Fast forward to today, I contacted al to see if the brakes could be done this weekend, as they are dangerous to drive with. Al responded that the labor price would now be $180 and he could do them early Saturday. I was taken aback, as that was not the original agreement. When I asked him why this was not communicated initially, as the labor would have been paid in full along with the parts, his reply was "This is why I don't do business with Black People, Black People suck". However… I bought starlights and had him and his team install them but him and his team did not do a great job at all. When I went to pick up the car they were finishing up but began to rush and left things unclipped. I let it be because I didn’t think it was that big of a deal but soon realized I should’ve spoke up. A couple months later my headliner is now in my line of sight and in the way of my rear view mirror. I messaged Al the same way I did when I scheduled the appointment and he didn’t offer to help resolve the issue and just said that he forgot he worked on my car. I messaged him back right after he responded and now 5 more months have gone by and I get 0 responses. One of my friends said they had a bad experience with him but I figured since I was budgeting so much I’d just give him a try but that was a big mistake, I will no longer be bringing my business to this company.
