I recently visited your store to find a jacket for my upcoming Europe trip and found one I liked, which I purchased earlier in the day. I had to rush home for a meeting but returned right before closing to check the kidsâ section for a specific size my friend needed.
While I was there, I encountered a short, older white associate who treated me in a way that felt extremely rude and discriminatory. I watched her interact kindly with another customer, but when she addressed me, her tone was noticeably different. She said, âThatâs the kidsâ section,â and then followed up with, âYou know, weâre about to close"as if I couldnât read or wasnât aware, even though a announcement had been made over the loudspeaker.
I was on the phone with my grandmother, so I stayed respectful, but the experience left me feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. As someone whoâs owned a brick-and-mortar store in Westchester County, I know firsthand how important it is to treat every customer with courtesy. I would never speak to someone that way.

Unlike the Saks Off Fifth stores I am used to, it has the feel of a cheap outlet store, with a smattering of better pieces, and is way different than the Saks Off Fifth in White Plains or the one that used to be at Bay Paza (from which I bought many of my favorites articles of clothing).
