LivCo Barbershop — Local services in Town of Geneseo

If I could give this shop a 0 I would. Rude and disrespectful owner. We show up for appt at 8:30 and shop closed. Wait for 15 minutes. Call the shop 8:45a to let him know my son had an appt and we are waiting. Jackson says oh I'm sorry didn't know anyone booked. I'm a minute away. Which I confirmed appt on Thursday for Saturday. He shows up, my boyfriend and son give him time to get in. Door is still locked Jackson is sweeping hair. The shop was dirty and he didn't even apologize to my son for being late. Sits him in the chair and doesn't even have a conversation with him. Is rushing to cut his hair so he did a BAD job and messed up his hair. Didn't want to give a $5 discount even though he was late more than 15 minutes and had no change to give. He was rude and continued to talk to someone else that walked in. He didn't even take the time to clean the hair off my son. Worst barber ever. We live in the area and have never dealt with someone so rude. My 14 year old acts more mature and respectful then he does. Learn some manners if you are going to be...

Had hair done with the previous owner and it was great. He has since sold the business and moved on. Recently took my son under the new ownership and he got the worst haircut he’s ever had. It was stunningly bad. We asked for a light trim/cleanup and he got a cockeyed bowl cut and the barber cut his ear to bleeding for no extra charge. Had to take him to a salon the next day because he was so embarrassed by how it looked. It was so bad the second stylist asked to take photos and said the barber could be reported to the licensing board. We did not do that. She also said we would be amazed by how many recuts she gets from that individual barber. There were two barbers at LivCo. The one who did the cut was not the new owner who we had no experience with and can’t comment on but the new owner may want to evaluate who he has cutting hair with him if he wants this business to be viable. I got mine cut at LivCo as well (not sure why after my son’s cut) and it wasn’t AS bad and I’m now planning to try out as an extra in the next...

First, I'm no college kid. Im 33. I just went to the new Liv Co Barber shop and absolutely had a great experience. The barbers, Nico and Brandon, are fun to talk with and are very good. I have not had the kind of attention to detail in my haircut like I got from Brandon (Who was my barber). He "edged" my hair line and beard line using warm shave cream and a straight razor.
