I’ve visited this place last night and was initially excited by how organize the entryway was. To my disgust and dismay, once I moved within 20 feet of the store my initial impressions were entirely wrong. I was one of two customers that were only in the store last night. I walked around the entire store and was Never knowledged, never greeted, never asked if I needed any assistance from the eight employees that were present on the floor during my one hour visit.
Recently having visited an Old Navy in Milwaukee that only had three employees on the floor, I spent close to $300 and was very satisfied with the energetic and friendly staff that were present. Mind you this store was full of customers.
Fortunately this Appleton location had almost 3 times as many employees on he floor and the overall organization of products was disgusting. Not only was everything disorganized but it was also dirty. At one point my shirt fell on the floor in the dressing room and you would’ve thought that it was about to fall into a septic pool by how quickly I picked I up and was horrified.
I do not understand why the store needed this excessive amount of incompetent employees to run it as location definitely did not have the volume of customers coming through it and nobody seem to be doing their job at all. I personally observed in several different locations with in the store several congregated employees having personal conversations and discussing inappropriate topics when they where they were supposedly trying to do their job. Which I observed seven of the eight not doing anything at all during this one hour visit.
When I approached a group of girls huddled together near the cash counter They seemed to be annoyed with the fact that I was requesting assistance and that I interrupted their personal conversation (Which they quickly returned to you as I was not even a foot away). If I was the manager of this specific location I would definitely Reconsider your skill set as a manager much less a person who is representing this franchise. We all have bad days but you can See from this Blatant lack of poor workforce hired that somebody needs to be reevaluated with regards to their hiring practices and managerial skills.
Then to top it off as I stood in line to pay for my purchase, cashier was only able to offered the customers a pathetic garbage can liner in lieu of a...
Read moreI had never been to Old Navy before, I was surprised they carry larger sizes. I looked around and found some great bargains or so I thought. I proceeded to try things on which I really don't enjoy and found my size in three tops. I proceeded to the check out waiting in line for sometime then, when I went to the cashier, very nice young lady tallied my purchases. The purchase were way more than the signage. Another young lady walked me around, to show me the signage. She said it happen all the time.If you have to do this so often, change your signs so anyone can see what the item is. It was so badly done, that I put the items down and left. Way to waste potential customers time. Draw an arrow, explain what item is on sale, use a marker for goodness sake to make it clear. I shop at many stores, never had a problem. If you want to throw away customers and profit you are well...
Read moreI am a regular shopper with Old Navy and on this occasion I had purchase over $160 worth of clothes online. I attempted to return 2 items,I went to the cashier with my receipt(her name was Buffy) she proceeded to tell me they would not take them back in store because they were plus size and they dont carry that in the store. The receipt had a few items checked that were to be returned by mail, but one of them, a fleece jacket was not and she continued to make a big deal about taking it back. Finally after 10 minutes of arguing she returned the item and I left a very unsatisfied customer! Will not go back...
