I’m going to be honest here. My husband contacted 3 different contractors for our removal of our obsolete 25 yr old jacuzzi tub and turn it into a walk in shower. One was a company globally known for faucets, one was a local contractor to Erie, PA, and the third was Braymiller Builders. I wanted quality work, worth paying for, without being ripped off. Our first quote was from the “reputable” local company in Erie which was $60,000?!?! The second quote was from the national faucet company $15-20,000… Braymiller came in at $15,000 with one exception, they do it one day… I was skeptical, I thought this was something like bath fitters where they over charge you for subpar work guaranteed to be done in one day… but Braymiller is different. They quoted this price and said “whatever we find behind your walls, rotted wood, black mold, we’ll fix it”. Eric, the salesman came into our house, showed us samples, gave us 100% authentic advice (both cons & pros) and COMPLETELY sold me. So the build is about 6 weeks out past contract signing. They came, took measurements, everything is custom built to your house. On our “build” day Brian the builder showed up at 8am SHARP. Spent time with my obnoxious dogs so they would warm up to him, and explained everything that would take place throughout the day. He was so professional, polite and respectful. He busted his ass ALL day in our house. Side note, Brian the plumber showed up also right on time, got in/got out. Our Installer Brian was done by 5…(This is crazy to me) and had us do our walk through which is the pictures attached. 1st pic is before next 3, is after. I cant put into words how happy I am with the renovation! HIGHLY, HIGHLY, recommend. I will update my review after 6 months of use just to be sure 😃.

I contracted with Braymiller to install a new patio door in my dinette. It was a bit stressful to have a huge hole cut into my house, but from the first call to the end of the job, the whole team at Braymiller were great to work with. They are great communicators - I never got any mixed messages or felt like I was being taken for a ride, the price I was quoted was the price I paid (and it was a more than fair price), and the work that was quoted was the work that was done. Gary and Bob, the installers, were meticulous and thorough and worked together seamlessly despite the mid-April snowstorm. They patiently answered all my questions and made sure I was happy with the work. They also cleaned up after themselves better than any work crew I have ever encountered - the house was dusty when they were done, but that's to be expected; other than a quick vacuum and mop, I did not need to clean up after them at all. I admit I was a bit nervous to have this kind of work done on my house, as it is the first time I have done a "fun" project instead of a "need to do" project, but they really did a stellar job. The door is beautiful, the warranty is terrific, and the whole Braymiller team is great to work with. I'd recommend them to anyone and will call them for windows and doors in the future.

Braymiller is a licensed installer of Jacuzzi showers. We hired them to replace our 21 year old shower with a new one. Their quote was a bit higher than some other vendors, but our shower was an unusual shape (36"x74") and required some custom work. The job was estimated as two days, and the installer (Brian - ask for him!) completed it in two days, although he was at our house until almost 10:00 pm the second day, as he said he wasn't leaving until everything was perfect. The job also required a plumber, who came, did his work, and left on the first day. Everyone at Braymiller was responsive and helpful. We had some unusual requirements (e.g., remove a step, replace a swinging door with sliders, fit in at hight angles to a Jacuzzi tub). As things go, there's a plan and there's the work. There were several issues that came up in the installation, but Brian was able to figure his way around all of them. Would I recommend Braymiller. Definitely! (See before and after photos.)

I had my bathroom redone in January of 2024. First, the good points:

Everyone is very nice to work with - Paul the salesperson, Scott the installer, Lucy at the front desk, and Matt and John making visits in response to complaints. Nice group of folks who always return phone calls in a prompt manner.

The presentation is very good - I noticed that many if not all of the reviews were provided on the day that the install was completed - this review is based on over a year of use.

Now - to the bad. I chose to go with an acrylic "flex" tub, and it has been a point of worry and concern from the first week, for several reasons. It is awfully difficult, at times impossible, to clean thoroughly; if you are not committed to wiping or cleaning the tub on a daily (or every other day) basis, the tub is going to be problematic for you in terms of being difficult to clean. And it becomes incredibly slippery and unstable from a footing standpoint - my girlfriend and I are both fairly young, and I cannot imagine an older person attempting to navigate the tub just from the cleaning requirements alone.

Further, and the most significant negative, is the tub has a prominent "spongey" feeling that's been present since the beginning. There is no sense of stability when stepping in and around the entire middle portion of the tub. Both Matt and John have come out and assured me that this is normal for this type of tub, and that there is nothing wrong with it. Since the beginning, the sponginess of the tub has become worse, and I fear it is only a matter of time before it cracks and begins to leak.

Other minor issues have arisen - the panels were separating from the tub, and the window surround was flaking off significantly - both were addressed promptly by Matt.

I recently had an independent plumber come in to snake the shower (unrelated completely to the quality of the tub) and he assured me that it is only a matter of time before the tub cracks and begins to leak into the basement - the instability and spongey feeling he attributed to a lack of a proper mortar base set under the tub. He is an independent plumber who does not do bathroom renovations, and no incentive for him to mislead me.

Overall - I've raised my concerns regarding the stability of the tub on several occasions, and I've been told they've been documented internally. At this point, the conclusion seems to be it is just a matter of "when," and not "if," the tub finally does crack. If I could do it over again, I would not have made the same choice - I am not sure if they offer(ed) them, but I would have chosen a cast iron/porcelain tub that would have some stability. However, as it stands, the cost of the project far exceeded the value of what I received in return - a disappointment considering, as a young homeowner, I wanted to find a contractor to work with on many other projects that Braymiller offers. At this point, without a suitable remedy/alternative to this current project, I will be forced to look...

Our experience with Braymiller Builders was 1st rate from the first phone call we made to setup an estimate, to the finished product! We get a lot of spam calls, so we actually hung up on the woman who called to setup the estimate, but she called right back, was very pleasant & understanding & took care of us. She was so nice! Adam, who gave us our estimate, arrived on schedule & was very patient with us. He went over everything! He was here for well over an hour, was friendly & helpful. He answered every question completely & honestly. By the time he left, he made sure we had exactly what we wanted. He was so prepared. If he couldn't show it to us on his computer, he actually had a sample bag that enabled us to see exactly what we were getting. He even took a couple of calls after the fact to help us out. Our install date arrived well before the 6-8 week estimate. Brian was the main installer, arrived early & kept us well informed of his progress. He was very friendly & accomodating. The work was done earlier than he estimated & he took his time after giving us all the details we would need to know about how soon we could use our new shower & care for it. He cleaned up very well afterward, leaving nothing behind. Derrick & Dustin were our plumbers & they did a great job, were very respectful & also kept us informed. They even replaced some things that weren't expected free of charge, making sure everything would work the best it could. Our new shower is absolutely beautiful & everything works great! We couldn't be more pleased! Getting such a wonderful shower unit in one day is amazing! It looks great, everything functions properly & we couldn't be happier! Thank you all so much for such an...
